I mean you don’t need to bring sexuality into it Rog, I’m sure you’ve bent a few treacle’s about in your time, ha.
Excuse me but the phrase ‘he was resisting arrest’ is l am afraid clearly and unaquivically shown TO BE A FALSEHOOD. Sorry but all the tlf. footage gives a timeline that shows no resistance and even under the circumstances politeness from a man being manhandled. Argue your point as you have a right to - but this very point is wrong. !!
only ever in a very manly way mate, you don't get gays in the paras ..if you want to live.. now that's wacist............an emoji for BLM
Is it true to say he was a criminal, with some history of violence, in the commission of another crime.
You really need an eye test mate, if you struggle while a cop is trying to cuff you, its not a tango its resisting arrest, suggest you have another look at the vid unless you are looking at the clipped woke one from the Guardian then its the death penalty for the whole force,
No problems with that statement Smug - just thought it fair to point out what l believe to be a very emotive statement in his post that was wrong. KTF
How the States are gonna heal - l have no idea. Just hope for 4 new years of common sense to prevail. KTF
full video would not comply, cop though he was looking for gun would not put his hands on dash, check the real video i await your apology
I've been thinking about whether I would do a Millwall IF I can ever bring myself to go to watch a football match knowing the players will "take the knee". I think I would just make my own gesture by turning my back on the pitch during the posturing. I totally support the long standing kick racism out campaign which could be respected, I can't see that kneeing racism out has generated any respect for the issue.
I'd suggest the clubs that have fans that boo will suffer for it. I would highly recommend not booing. I would imagine players who believe in the cause will think twice about joining Millwall while this is fresh in the mind. There is absolutely no positive that will come of booing. The knee doesn't bother me but if it did I'd wait in the concourse or as you say, silently look away. Booing, like it or, will be taken as bigotry. Especially given Millwall have started it.
If players feel they need to do this then where's the harm in them doing so in the dressing room before they go into the pitch, they then don't offend supporters if that is in fact happening, or is their message more along the lines of look at me I'm in full support cos they know the cameras are rolling. I personally think their being led like sheep and don't want to be castigated as that player who won't put his head above the parapet.
you have nailed it mate it would take no problem for them to display the political or other elegancies in the dressing room the pitch is not the place for protests
He wouldn't walk to the car, then he wouldn't get in the car, then he was claustrophobic (having been sat in a similar sized vehicle when they first approached him to make the arrest). The words coming from his mouth did not match his actions his opening gambit being "don't shoot me" whilst reaching down in the footwell of his car and not showing hands as requested - the reason one of the cops pulled his weapon initially and reholstered when he did as he was told. You must surely have been able to work that out, the guy was being obstructive from the first moment the cops engaged him. "I will do as I am told" while blatantly not doing that. Unfortunately the naughty step doesn't exist in the adult world but even if it did I am sure he would not have sat on it when told. One of his lady friends told another cop in the group that "he had something wrong in his head" or similar, he was most certainly resisting arrest! Merely being in handcuffs does not constitute a full and successful apprehension of a suspect. If they cops didn't have hold of him he could have ran and got run over or anything. Then the discussion would have been different again. Did he deserve to die - of course not. But you cannot state he didn't resist arrest when the video evidence clearly shows he would not submit to the police easily. They were two or three up on him throughout and still couldn't get him in the car without a struggle. Resisting doesn't have to involve pushing, screaming and kicking and biting. Simple refusal to bend at the waist or walk or stand all count as resistance.
Wasn’t there a police officer shot and killed in Croydon recently in an actual police station ? If the scumbag was adequately restrained it wouldn’t have happened but we have lunatics demanding for the police to be defunded when a reasonable argument could be made that the police do not actually have enough funding. Interesting that the suspect hasn’t had a lot of press as well, white police officer murdered by BAME gun supplying lowlife probably doesn’t suit today’s media agenda.
on the other side of the coin we have the lord of wokeness Lewis Hamilton, 40 mill a year Mercedes driver supporting BLM and all it stands for including pulling statues down of the past, yet he takes the coin from a company that supported the Nazi party, and in fact were paid by them for their manufactured goods for the third Reich during the war. what a hypocrite and just shows that it all smoke and mirrors for more attention
What's this. EDL taken over. Modern day Alf Garnetts. What are you all on about! I'm out. You won't miss me.
