Interesting comment on the thread for that image, which could help to temper the enthusiasm, but they do go on to say that they hope to see it fall again after that.

Another kick in the nuts for the stall holders and small businesses who I presume incurred some costs in preparation for the market.

They must have realised they were on a sticky wicket though? It shouldn't have been allowed in the first place imo.

Had to decide between this thread and the "now for something completely..." thread.

How do you fancy your jab from a newly-trained first year geography student? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The NHS is recruiting 30,000 volunteers to help with the rollout, including lifeguards, airline staff and students - who will be trained to give the jabs.

Reading a few bits and pieces, that seem to all stem from the same source, but they're looking at which areas may change tiers, and they seem to be saying 'The Humber' whatever the **** that's supposed to be, is one of the areas rising, and therefore liable to stay in Tier 3. Does that make sense to anyone else?

I'm not sure if they're referring to death rates or hospitalisations, as I think I'm correct in saying that the rate of positive 'tests' is reducing rapidly?

They have started administering the vaccine. The second person to have it said it was Much Ado About Nothing.but hoped it is a case of All's Well That Ends Well.

**** me, I didn't realise how much confidence they've got in the life giving skills of the vaccine. They've just injected William Shakespeare.

Looking at the picture, he hasn't changed much.

Where will technology take us next, now that immortality is just around the corner?

Am happy to have a jab regardless who gives it. I'll even do it myself!

Some of those who object will be happy to inject or ingest substances obtained from people they have never met before on street corners or at parties.

Glad you put that references in my post to our greatest playwright might have gone over the heads of people who get their info from social media and to whom Shakespeare is not relevant as he isn't writing g about samecsex, self-identifying people living in multicultural tower blocks.

Wasn't Romeo and Juliet sort of about that?

I think they use 'the Humber' because some people get all excited about anyone using the dreaded word Humberside (but it means the same as the old Humberside CC area when they use the Yorkshire and Humber region etc)
Cases in 'the Humber' are definitely not going up (whether that comment was right is another thing as the data isn't through yet)

Overall number isn't that important actually, its the trend which is more important IMHO so as long as you use teh same data set each time thats fine

This is a good one, and easy to use too

Apart from the fact they weren't in a same sex relationship, and self-identifying, or living in a multicultural high rise, possibly...

How many people live "in the Humber?" Do they have gills or webbed feet?

It's ignorant of them to use a name they've invented, when we have a perfectly acceptable one that we've used for centuries.

Cheers for the link and explanation, I'll give it a look. <ok>
