    HammersmithBlue.
What exactly is the point you're trying to make?
Is it that Chelsea have a better team and more fans than us, cos we know that.
So now you can **** off, cos your banter is pathetically piss poor.
That's not me biting BTW, I'm just bored with you.

Where do i start with this 'donut' post?

I've got three tix in the Ellerslie Sure you have Billy bull####. You probably don't even know where Loftus Rd is.

Not like the good old days when most of the Ellerslie, away end, most of the paddock, South Africa upper and even a few hundred in the Loft
you must be the bloke from the old 606 board. I had to correct him when he came out with that myth. Actually not surprised you didn't say Chelsea had all the ground in the old days? Utter utter rubbish but then again i am talking to some 'Jonny come Roman' so the myth does get bigger over the years.

I've got three tix in the Ellerslie. ha ha best line of the day

Still lots of unrestricted tickets in the Loft lower left too.

Chelsea sold out their allocation in under an hour.

If anyone has a pre-September 20 Hoops membership and has not exercised their right to a Chelsea ticket, we can help out

I remember games v Chelsea in the 80s and 90s when they did seem to have 'fans' all round the ground, you'd not know it until they scored. I was a kid then and less aware of the consequences of that, but if they have got tickets other than just in the school end, then I fear it could get ugly.

I'm convinced this walloper is mitchwfc - doubt he's a Chelsea fan, he's certainly not from Hammersmith.

Where's MickCFC - I could appreciate WUMs like that who were at least amusing

Think if you can read that it says Season ticket holders and members only. Which you are neither so stop embarrassing yourself trying to be a ‘Chelsea Charlie’ because you have no tickets and you are digging a bigger hole for yourself.
If so tell me which block you are in and we can stop this rubbish now.

Most real Chelsea fans would love to be us as they are an example of how to market yourself as a Global so much that you disappear up your own arse
We are a new product and will attract new fans ... If they build a new LR then let's hope they take into account the unique style of our grounds or it will be another emirates ... Waste of materials

I don't think QPR or Cheslkum can build on or near the Scrubs, it has planning restrictions meaning it has to be left as an open space. Something to do with the land being bequeathed in perpetuity for public use. A well meaning Victorian type left the land with the stipulation that it couldn't be developed.

Linford Christie stadium is very small, it borders the Scrubs and is hemmed in by a block of flats, Hammersmith Hospital and Wormwood Scrubs nick. Public transport to this area is poor, you'd have to walk from White City or back from East Acton and only a couple of buses go near. There is parking for the hospital to the west of the stadium but you have to go down a narrow road between the hospital and prison to get to it.

The horse guards used to use the cinder ground to practice for the Royal Horse Show, not sure if it is still there or if they still charge about the place anymore.

If we don't go west, way out west, wikiwikitty wild west, and end up in Uxbridge then the only real option is to boot the milkmen out and develop the dairy site. If they do a Dale Farm on the travellers underneath the Westway you could also create road access to Latimer Road. There would have to be improved access as you can only get there now via the bridge over the central line next to White City station. No idea if the land on the dairy site is even for sale, not much use to us if it isn't!

No to a ground share. Not on your nelly.

    WE ARE QPR!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry they will only have the school end and few scattered around the place.
I used to go to all the games in the late 80's and 90's and always stood right behind the goal in the loft. Funny thing was 87/88 or 88/89 is the year they claim to have took over the loft and half the ground. Well i was in there and most Chelsea fans left the ground early because they lost 3-1. None in the loft though. Agree in the old days before proper segregation away fans could getinto most parts of the ground but nothing like they make out.
Also remember the game when 'furs' scored twice for them (midweek game) i was in Ellerslie and agree a few jumped up but the next day all their fans said they had most of the ground which was a myth.
Then again what do you expect from Chelsea fans?

Thing is most of the new breed of Chelsea fans are tourist, plastic Muppets who want to see a few stars.
Since Roman most of the old Chelsea fans are gone.
I remember the 80’s at the Bridge, where it was dodgy to go as an away support. Now compare that with the FA cup game? What a joke, we took over the place. Pubs full of Rangers, chanting all in the streets. Only thing I was worried about was being asked where the ground was by some tourist.
Agree we don’t want to see the dark days but it makes me laugh when you listen to how people like ‘Hammersmith blue’ talk. You can tell he is the new breed from his posts.

Touchy you newbies. Boxing day 84 and milk cup 86 we had well over half the ground. More recently had well over half the ellersie for a night cup game when we went 2 nil at half time... Mid 90s. Ellerslie rocked through the interval like it had never been rocked before or since.
Older bods say cup game early 70s there were more than 20000

West Ham's support is big but nowhere near as big as Chelsea's. I'm not sure how well travelled you are but go pretty much anywhere south of the river (moreso South West) and it's all Chelsea. Ask anyone in Merton, Wandsworth, Sutton, Kingston, H&F, Richmond and Surrey who the most supported team is and I'm willing to bet you they say Chelsea by a distance. Along with West Ham, Arsenal and Spurs we are by far and away the most supported, not bragging here just simply reiterating my point about us being able to fill a 60k stadium most weeks at cheaper prices.

Christ on a bike, will you ever stop Wumming? <laugh>

I'm going to the game as well and I'm sure there will be Chelsea in the QPR end but equally I'm willing to bet the reverse would happen in the reverse fixture as I don't see us selling out QPR at home, not at these current prices.

Where I was brought up and still live: Hammersmith/Chiswick/Bush borders by Queen Charlotte's, it was mainly Rangers then Fulham/Bees/Blues in the 80s.

At my primary and secondary school, the same.

Up until the Broadway it used to be Rangers and then south of the flyover it would be Chelsea.

But now Chelsea have lots of fans in Chiswick and Hammersmith.

Just what is your problem with QPR?

Rubbish. Football has long since changed. IMO all seater stadiums as well as the fact football is fast becoming a middle class man's game and extortionate ticket prices is what has led to a change in atmosphere at all grounds.

You have to put in perspective. You took 6,000 to Stamford Bridge in what was your biggest game in over a decade. We were coming on on the back of losing the most successful manager we'd ever had and obviously the mood was low, not to mention the fact we had other priorities. QPR in the FA Cup isn't an important game for us, hence why we fielded our 3rd team. The priority was beating our arch rivals in the league which we did and that began a title push.

I suspect the dark days which you are alluding to happened last year simply because it is a well known fact that Chelsea and Cardiff both have a higher % of numpties than most other clubs (i.e Hooligans). Apart from West Ham, Chelsea had by far the highest number of arrests for home games in the 09/10 season, with Cardiff having by far the highest number of arrests for away games, when two teams meet in a one off match with cheap tickets available, then IMO clashes are sadly inevitable.

Hammersmith Blue has achieved what he wanted to by getting so many responses and people frothing at the mouth.

QPR have had years of mediocrity which unfortunately (for them) coincided with the next generation of football fans coming through. The only difference between them and Fulham is just pure luck and timing.

In 2004, Football began to expand hugely worldwide, some clubs were able to take advantage of that because they were in a good position i.e Us. Others weren't.

No offence but you seem to have a massive superiority complex. You still haven't told me why you dislike QPR so much.
