There are 5 stages of grieving: denial; anger; bargaining; depression; and acceptance. I'd put most Gooners somewhere between stages 2 and 3, although a number are still in denial. My cousin's well ahead of the game. He's at been Stage 4 for weeks and has ****ed off back to live in Spain...
Oh no, they're getting so mad that they're now editing videos together! Naturally, there's a lot of Man Utd and Saltypool fans agreeing wholeheartedly that, because you can find three instances of a player doing something in a season where he's played 17 games for a total of 1276 minutes which is "proof" ****ing hell...
Was Wasn't aggressive or defensive mate ... That's why I said it weren't a dig. It does make me laugh...but if you think otherwise fair enough
Think we were 2-1 up when United went down to 10 men but they simply imploded. Other teams are very wary of us (look at chelsea last week) . We have already play 2 or 3 games more than our main rivals and 7 more than the likes of Everton, West Hsm and Wolves. Saving energy by being so defensive in yesterday's second half makes lots of sense in the run up to a mad December and early January imho
Soooo you're telling me that alongside scoring and assisting for fun, he's still boiling the piss of other fans? Love it. My striker.
I said it before but the Europa qualifiers were a blessing in disguise for us. So many teams failed to have a proper pre-season and those games gave us extra minutes to get the team gelling and building more match fitness. For sure it came with the risk of extra injuries but thankfully we came through them pretty unscathed. As weird as it may sound and this is partly with hindsight too, we actually needed Europa more so than Champions League this season from a playing and squad perspective, it's allowed the new guys more game time to settle because had we been in the CL it would've been harder to rotate the side and no doubt guys like Son, Kane, Hojbjerg etc would've got burnt out already. Having this season to get the squad bedded-in bodes well for next season if we can get back into the CL, as we'll know which guys we can truly rely on to come in for some games and trim those on the fringes who aren't really needed which so far looks like Winks, Dele and Sanchez, possibly Lamela too with a bit of luck if we can find a buyer.
PL participants in the EL always have a luxury of far wider squad rotation in the group stage than their CL peers. Of course it has a cost if you get to the latter KO stages and you are in contention for the PL (I refer you back to the 2015-16 season) . Would be a laugh if a EL participant won the PL this year (more so if they also won the EL) .
How can you not buy into Lesta fairytale 2 : electric boogaloo ?? Especially at this magical time of the year.
He’s right. The whole vibe I get from the club from top to bottom now is that they want to win a trophy asap and that’s the priority. I haven’t had that feeling from Spurs before. I don’t think the league will happen (Liverpool) but I can definitely see a league cup win and possibly the fa cup or europa too
I don't really intend to watch you much . But I do know that with some of the personnel you have you shouldn't be where you are, hence why I don't think you're a poor team, you're just a team playing poorly. Aubameyang's gone from one of the best finishers in the league to the Gabonese Vincent Janssen at the moment. Others aren't pulling their weight either. Manager or something behind the scenes isn't right but on paper your team is better than to be 15th in the table I'd say. Can't say I'm not enjoying it though
