Anyone got this yet? Am tempted by it but my two issues are: 1-I’ve paid for the BBC content already through my license so it feels a bit off to have to pay again. 2-I’ve heard a lot of the content has been deleted/censored/sanitised due to snowflakes.
I've got it for free for six months (BT offer). I'm not sure if I will pay once the offer is up. We are currently watching Downton Abbey
You need to get a free trial, Chippy (you'll be used to not paying for stuff mate). I'm sure they do a free 7 day trial. So, we are watching Downton (its actually fairly good!). We watched series 1 and 2 without any problems but before series 3 started, they've missed out a 2 hour long Christmas Special. I only realised when series 3 started and there was a clear gap in the storyline. Which stupid Britbox programmer cocked this up ffs!?
Seriously why would anyone bother. Get a dodgy IPTV app on a Firestick and you get everything for free. Make sure you sign up with someone decent and its great quality. I pay £75 a year to my dude and I get all the football matches, boxing, basically any sport. I can watch any movie including all the new ones, some still at cinema (quality can drop a little on those), and get any box set. Basically you name it, you can get it on there and its no different to watching sky. For £75 its great value. He fully manages the security and stability of the server. You can request movies if they are not listed etc.
Nah he's in the army. Wor lasses bro is military police and its his pal. Just does it for a bit coin on the side I think. Loads of people around who do it. I have about 6 mates who have the IPTV apps, I think only two of them use the same guy. A couple of them pay £50 but then they whinge about streams crashing on the footy. I think its happened to me only a couple of times on the toon matches (I don't really watch much other footy now). Had it about 3 years now. Bairn loves it too for all the teenage shows etc. He does multi-room etc for a tenner extra I think Ridiculous really but this is what Sky etc get for being a bunch of greedy bastards.
I had a couple of boxes but they went off air after a while I agree with Sky being greedy bastards, they pissed me off so much I cancelled mobile, TV, and broadband. I'd much rather have Netflix than Sky, and I have BT Sport which is good for rugby union and boxing. I dont mind paying if I watch it in the first place and connectivity is good.
I get Britbox free cos I know someone who works for them. Got IPTV myself, saved a fortune over the years especially on boxing
Yeah they will go off after a while - mine did last year but I just rang the dude and he gave me the new link. The good ones just keep switching up the servers etc (its Sky etc fighting back is all). Most of my mates have ditched Sky etc. I've kept it for some things (mainly things for the missus) but I pay buttons now.
