Made a couple of smart saves and a flier to push one away from his top right corner.

Great performance that. Little rest for the players now before Fulham and Spurs. Being top for Christmas is a real possibility...which is unbelievable when you consider the issues we’ve had this season.

That game did wonders for our goal difference. Very competent performance, I thought it would be much tougher. Play kids midweek then full team against Fulham.

The Spurs game will be very important now, must not lose that one. I think under Moaner Spurs are less likely to fade towards the end of the season, but still think Chelsea and Leicester will be the main rivals.

be nice to get gini signed up but seems like one that’s gonna rumble on all season. Guess just depends if he wants one final challenge abroad at a top club or happy to see out his last few years here.

I'm expecting that to be an attack v defence exercise.

Excellent performance, very happy with the team.

Neco looked much better tonight, grew into the game. Keeper was solid, the chip he saved should not be underestimated, that was an exceptional save, alot of keepers would not have been able to shift themselves across for that.

Since he's returned ive more and more tried to just watch what Henderson does, he really is very very good. We are 100% better with him on the pitch.

He starts so many of our attacks from just outside our area, while halting so many of the oppositions counters.

If he stays fit weve got a good chance of going close again. The whole team revolves around him.

This has been apparent for a while tbh, I fully believe if he wasn't suspended for our last few games in 12/13 we'd have won the title then.

You gotta love Hendo, never given a chance here at the start, fans, media in his back after he took the armband and he's gone and proved everyone wrong, me included, Been stuffed off a big phat slice of hendo humble pie for ages now Myself.

If we lose him for any decent length of time this season we won't win the title.

Can't rely on naby Anderton, plays 2 games then goes for 4/3 week lie down and Jones is too inexperienced to start each game imo anyway.

Gini is our only regularly available cm. And that's not great so Klopp needs to do what he can to preserve them all and keep them as fit as possible. Impossible task really.

Tell ya what, just watching some highlights, that kid in goal has fully earned those two clean sheets, that save when the wolves #10 tried to chip him at the far post was actually brilliant, again the save at the near post from the #3 where he stood up well. Collected and flicked away a few crosses one in particular he came some way for and had to stretch but made and excellent catch and again this game his dstribution was good, under pressure he pinged a 50yrd right footed volley practically to Bobby's laces which had me quite gassed at the time<laugh>
Seems a very calm young dude too which is a good trait in any keeper, only 2 games but I've been very impressed with him. <applause>

Gini.. Get this lad signed up ASAP. Always available to play, consistently decent performances, good engine, tactically disciplined, well liked in the squad, Klopp loves him what's the delay <wah>b

I hope if he does end up leaving its for his own personal football reasons rather than us not valuing him in terms of wages, be an absolute crime to let him go for the sake of a few million pennies imho. 29yr old now and I reckon he has a good few years at his current level left yet infact I think he has the potential to peak in the next few years and play some of the best football of his life. and what a fukin peach of a goal btw<applause>

Hendo again brings that determined assurance to the team, I've said it before and I'll say it again, if we lose hendo for any decent period we will pay the price in pts.
Pray to whoever you need to and hope that doesn't happen :emoticon-0107-sweat

Fab out of position & played well again, bar one moment when he dived in too early and traore slipped past him but all round solid af, redeemed himself with great clearance off Coadys toe to save an almost certain goal. The more he plays here the more comfortable hell become. He'll be there all season so he best get used to it<laugh>

Neco seems to have a bit of confidence back, that's all he needed, it clearly took a dent after the **** he got online early in the season which was utterly ridiculous tbh but played well enough today and as Klopp said they targeted him and swapped adama over to his side after his yellow but he coped well with it.:emoticon-0165-muscl
Hope this kid makes it cos he's different to trent and we need a bit of variety I think.

Speaking of Trent... Lad comes back & fires that deadly weapon of a right foot like it was yday and boom =goal. :emoticon-0169-dance fantastic ball it was, made it look easy as per usual but to see that ball and play it perfectly so quickly and into the kill zone is the stuff I love to see, and I bet Mane does too, you see the burst from mane as soon as he sees trent cock his gun, knows exactly where trent wants to play that. Great goal that i loved it.

4 nil done wonders for our goal Diff too<applause>

Kids against midget land, then Fulham and Spurs up after, let's fukin gooooo! <party>

Really happy with that performance. I wasn't expecting it but it was welcome! No poor performances, everyone stepped up.

Kelleher, Neco and Jones - the 3 youngsters stepping up and delivering again. I'm really impressed with Kelleher - I was expecting the worst from him after watching him in his previous matches but he hasn't put a foot wrong. His ability on the ball is so so good. Neco is still raw but hes performing a lot better in the past couple of games, whilst Jones is playing with real maturity - he killed a couple of good opportunities but he grew more and more confident.

I think if we were to look at stats, it would probably indicate that Mane had a poor game. But he was brilliant - not everything went his way but he just causes so much panic and trouble. Mo was phenomenal as well and for me, he is the best player in this team. Goal scorer and creator.

Matip, Fabinho, Robbo, Gini and Hendo - the experience and quality these have shown during this tough period is exemplary. They are the core group at the back whilst VVD is out and each brings their own quality and leadership. Love it.

And great to see Naby and Trent back. Trent will be a huge boost to this team because not only is a solid defender but his attacking output is insane. He will help create chances and switch play. Hopefully we will have Shaq, Allison and Ox ready for Fulham or Spurs, and then the squad is really looking strong.

In summary, when the system works no team can live with us. When one facet fails especially pressing/intensity, the other team has a chance

Strong all-round performance. Great to see and hear a crowd again. Good to see Jurgen fist-pumping again. Trent back too,, like he'd never been away.

He comes for the ball on his six-yard line - I'll support any keeper who does that, even if he makes the odd mistake. Migs could have been a great keeper, had he not been prone to being glued to his line. The least said about Karius...

Adrian did a job last season, but he just isn't quality.

I liked the way he not only came but realised when it was safer to punch ball away rather than risk catching it at full stretch while under pressure .
