How does everyone think he is doing then?....

I personally fort he was terrible against wolves....he was running around like a headless chicken....he seems very hit and miss at the moment, i would love to see marveux in his position but dont think it will happen....

I think he is a good squad player, someone that would be good to bring on last 20 when teams are tired exp with his pace

Bad v Wolves, good v Blackburn. Hit and miss sums it up.

But for a low cost signing he's decent enough to have around. Marv will replace him sooner or later.

He reminds me alot of Squidward from Spongebob square pants.
He's going to take along time to settle and build confidence. Which will only happen with playing games.
I completely agree he should be used as an impact player, but im not sure whether he will grow as fast this way.

I don't mind Obertan. He will be good off the bench, but we must start Marveaux. I have a feeling he is going to be something special and twice the player Obertan is!

he's exactly as i knew he'd be having seen him at man utd. i always thought he was good so long as you get the ball out in front of him to run onto but he gives possesion away cheaply and when he does he just shrugs and saunters off. he doesn't do enough when he hasn't got the ball. you literally have to give it to him on a plate or he'll be anonymous.

I did think he was good against blackburn but i think he'll be one that amazes and infuriates in equal measure. personally ive been screaming for marv to be drafted into his place since the first time i saw him play.

Hes very hit and miss, but showed his good side against Arsenal, Fulham and Blackburn.

Our Carling Cup midfield at Blackburn could be:

    Ferguson - Guthrie - Gosling - Marveaux
    --------------Ben Arfa----------------

Even if we have Perch in defence that should be enough to see us to the next round. Our midfield options are ****ing great!

I would personally rather play a full strength team against blackburn in the cup, i think this is a comp we can really do good in and dont want to risk it playing a weakend squad...

but i agree with most people am dying to see marveaux he just looks like he has bags of quality and very intelligant unlike obertan who i think runs with the ball and seems to forget what to do lol

I've been quite impressed but he doesn't seem like too much of an improvement on Routledge, similar ability but also has the same apparent lack of confidence to beat his man. If you look at it this way, he's been a lot better than the other French winger we were 'heavily' linked with, Mr Insomnia. Would like to see HBA on the right if we are gonna play 4-4-2.
