To say France are up for it would be a massive understatement. Their fly half Jalibert is an inspiration, and that defence of their line at the end of the half was incredible. England would be very deflated not to score there, and hopefully Jones can sort things out at the break.

 

Their defence was brilliant at the end of the half. Maybe England should have mixed it up a bit more and pulled the ball back for a runner a few more times, just to change things and maybe spread the defence a bit, instead of them being able to settle into a war of attrition.

 

Exactly, England were complacent in thinking they could just outmuscle the French there.

 

Get Farrell off kicking FFS. Absolute garbage today.

 

He has missed 3, for him, simple kicks. Doesn’t help when we open them up on our right and don’t capitalise on it.

Too many little errors creeping in. England need something spectacular to get through this French defence but need more discipline.
