Many people supported the sentiment that Black Lives Matter after a few highlighted cases of police, in the US, either killing or seriously injuring black people

There may be some police departments that are racist but I think the major issue in US is the use of guns and the police training is often inadequate

however, the actual BLM movement / organisation is a Marxist socialist. the message blm is no longer about trying to highlight racism and is fully political for an organisation or ideology many don’t support

so ,it’s about time football stopped with the taking the knee ( it’s a blm protest...that is the association by many ordinary fans)

the FAs have plenty of initiatives to tackle racism in sport / football , so they could highlight those ... like show racism the red card as they highlight racism in football in the UK.

ordinary football punters can’t be arsed with it anymore and the booing fans is going to get more vocal

They are not taking the knee to support BLM, the 'evidence' was a Harry Kane quote and the man's an idiot.

They are probably shocked that loads of their colleagues get abused at grounds and online by racists, something that shouldn't be happening in the 21st century. Unfortunately, especially in the last 4-5 years, nationalism and racism are back in the mainstream and it's empowered all the low-IQ racist scum to come crawling out from their caves to tell us how 'woke' and 'PC' everything is.

They've distanced themselves from BLM. It's just about denouncing racism. Give it a google instead of relying on peter and Duncan for fair and unbiased reporting of 'facts' on here.

 

They're not though. Someone the early organisers might be, that doesn't mean that anyone that marched or sympathised with BLM wants to cancel capitalism or fire all policemen.

It's become an easy way for some people to completely dismiss the movement and their goals.
