I'll be ashamed if anyone boos it at SMS.

 

I agree that it's had it's time and has become a bit meaningless. It's just another classic example of football making it look like they're doing something without actually doing something.

But I'd also wager that that's not why the people in question are booing.

 

If fans are booing it, I would suggest that the players need to keep doing it until the racists stop booing.

 

Oh I agree the boooing is unnecessary, however it is possible to think it needs to stop without being called or considered a racist, and that's where I sit.

 

Nothing wrong with that view.

This is spot on - I think the only thing taking the knee actually does is act as an excuse to show football is against racism, without actually taking any meaningful action - i am dead against it.

However there is 0 chance that is why the millwall fans were booing and if we are all honest, they are more than likely just racist scum bags.

 

I thought it was very powerful initially when football first came back from lockdown. It lost its effect long ago though imo, and now is no different to chucking a kick it out t shirt on once a season or whatever.

 

How will they know if they all have masks on? It's the perfect cover.

 

Let's face it, it was Millwall so basically it was all 2,000 booing, it certainly sounded like it.

 

I don't think it's necessary to prolong it but I don't really care too much if it does, what's a couple of seconds at the start of a match matter to anyone?

Media saying it’s an easy group, but if we play to Nations League form we will struggle with Poland (and Hungary are no walk over although we should beat them).

Andorra and San Marino surely need to be played on the road too, Villa Park is owed a game, what do we reckon for the other, Anfield or St James?

 

When do the qualifiers start, next Autumn? Might make this my England campaign.

Actually, don't really want to go to Qatar in December. Euro 24 in Germany it is.

 

And as per, well ace the qyalifying, win all our matches against poor opposition, we will get all excited and expectant and then they'll let us down in tremendous fashion at the finals.

 

In fairness, I’d expect Saints to stroll through that group.

 

Group I: Ingsgerland, Bedarnek's Poland and the up and coming Lewandowski, Hungary, Albania, Andorra, San Marino

 

Phillips, Henderson and Dier to stifle out Andorra and San Marino then.

 

Why do people seem to think Poland are going to be some kind of walkover? They aren’t that far off Denmark in quality and we all saw how well we dealt with them?
