Suarez v the Mancs Will he play?? I really hope he does, and I really hope Stevie starts too Uruguay play at home on Friday in a World Cup Qualifier, and then the away on Tuesday to Paraguay, in another WCQ, thats a long flight from South America to Liverpool, my guessin is theres a couple of transfers too.if Stevie plays , I pray thats its Suarez who doesnt get left out., I suspect it ciould be though. For me , it should be Adam who is benched.Suarez n Gerrard both have to play against the top 6 teams if fit
It will be a hual no question. but if you think about it like this. he'll be in uruagay this week so that set of flights is dealt with.... they'll fly to paraguay monday latest so its up to us when we get him back, we whould be able to have him in melwood on thursday if we want. if anything carroll is more likely to be on the bench even if he's rested by england again but if we played 4-5-1 with carroll up top and put suarez on second half it could be good.... how many times have we beaten them in the past few years without gerrard or torres or both?
I'd do this...use Suarez if req. Downing for Bellers later on. ----LUCAS ADAM -----GERRARD KUYT------BELLAMY -----CARROLL
Suarez will play some part of the game.A lot of our players are going with their international teams so hopefully NO INJURIES God i hate these international games with a vengeance GRRRRRRRRRRR
Suarez will play against the Skanks. He has a reputation for not turning up on time for training after an international break...He's always turned up early after an international break.
Not that makes any sense at all where exactly is Suarez playing during the international break. Does he have a large distance to travel Alan?
Arriving early means you were on time Alan but forget that. Suarez could very well feel the effects of the long travelling then. Same goes with Lil Pea.
It's very important whether Vidic plays or not. United leak goals without him and I think Kuyt and Suarez can exploit that. Bellamy will also be fantastic to bring on, and maybe Gerrard. Interesting game.
What do you make of all the stuff on the banter thread, EMF? I have to say I'm not really in agreement with it. You're right about Suarez, by the way.
the thing i don't get about some guys is they think flying to uraguay this week (for friday game) then flying to paraguay monday for a game isn't tiring but the flight back to england which would put him in training on thursday if he felt like it is somehow excruciating. with a couple days to get back in the time zone he's going to have no problem with tiredness! its getting an injury we would need to worry about more! anyway.... i think johhny evans is seriously hurting thier side and if we get at him we could be in business but in the end this game will be one where goal 1 is vital. we've gotten it the past couple of times. we need to win but I'd take a draw right now....
I tend to agree with B4F. For their sake its important Vidic plays. If he doesn't, I will be right in my prediction that Suarez and Liverpool will destroy them with ease. It will border on cruelty.
I must say Alan, after some careful consideration of your above comment I have concluded you are chatting ****. I mean without Vidic the only threat you have is Suarez, you better hope hes at 200% because we will score goals.
You will score? Are you sure about that, you're only ''threat'' is a fat bald bloke that has scored once against us from open play in 16 attempts. 14 of this 16 games he's either forgotten to get off the bus or he's taken up residence in Jamie Carraghers pocket. We're going to pack the midfield and Spudhead will be as much use as Rangers in europe.
Instead of showing your clear lack of football knowledge Alan why dont you go back and watch the start of this season. You will see Man Utd are scoring goals in every game. We are about to face a team with a defence around the levl of Arsenals defence the other week .
