After the first half, a point is a decent result.

After being outplayed the way we were first half I'll take a point there .. keeps the unbeaten run going and a point away from home us always a good one. Think they raised their game for the fans being the first game in front of them for a while tbf so happy with that.

That ref needs sacking the moment he gets back to the dressing room.

I hate to say it, but a fair result. Commentators at BBC Oxford were terrible though, far too excited when nothings really happening & Oxford just going forward near the area.

You cant win em all. Good point in the end. Oxford upped their game and deserved a point. As said before, we need to be more clinical upfront, but overall no complaints. UTT

All teams will see HCAFC as a scalp from now on in, we just to have accept that. Oxford will likely be crap next week and lose 3-0... a good point...

What’s the betting it’s yet another deluded, post match, Manager saying “we were the better team & should have won.”

Dropped points to a team below us, drawing again, Magennis draws a blank, Eaves fails to score after coming on, **** arm, bad tattoo.

First of all, awful, awful referring performance. His failure to play the advantage rule until two minutes to go must be questioned higher up. The decision to stop play and give City a free kick when Docherty was one on one with the keeper was one of the worst decisions I have seen in my life.
Two, the 1,000 or so home fans certainly made a difference, in fact a huge difference and I'd say the influenced some of the referring and linesmen's decisions.
Three, Oxford were very street wise. They fell down at every challenge, every one, they blocked, they left a foot in, and they pressed City especially in the first half.
4, Que another manager to say how good they were, when I thought in the second half they were clinging on for their lives.
I thought we did very well to get a point out of this in the end because the ref gave us nothing and oxford played out of their skins. Having said that we took the battle to them in the second because this was a battle and I'd guess we will have a few scars after it.
Very good second half from City which showed some guts, some pride and a lot of skill.
1-1. A good point at a difficult venue made even more difficult by an inept performance from the referee.

    Why would it be deluded?

We didn't drop points, we gained one.
