3-5-2 is generally accepted to make a team more secure at the back because it gives you 5 at the back out of possession and 3 midfield players in front. We don't really have decent candidates for wing backs, but then we don't really have decent full backs anyway. BOS could be put up top with Dykes I suppose. In reality, nothing is likely to improve this **** show defensively.
We play nice football at times, but defend like complete muppets. A change may be needed if we end up in a relegation battle which is entirely possible.
I wasn't suggesting 3-5-2 However, there has to be something to improve matters, even if it's lofting the ball forward and just keeping it out of our half as much as possible. And just push up whenever the ball is in the air. Something!!
I haven't got the stats in front of me, but I'm pretty sure we concede less with Masterson instead of Dickie. And Kakay instead of Kane.
That was like a usual first half in Hounslow or at the Rupert's place. Kane must be the worst defender ever. Three changes at half time, but which three of the ten should get hooked?
