Could be, just the reason being given doesn't make sense.

  6. Not the case if a separate company jointly owned by KLD and JS owns 80% of the shares in the club, or whatever vehicle owns the shares in the club. Control then passes to the new company.

Alas people, much as it grieves me, have to accept we are a League One club that at best won’t return to the Premier League for 3 seasons at the earliest.
Any top name manager wouldn’t be keen to join us in that situation, particularly with the salary cap which will hinder any transfer incomings in January.
Parkinson was totally the wrong appointment because he works with outmoded ideas and at best is a mid table League Two manager, another example of Donald’s bad judgement.
However in true Lads tradition we will back our new manager to the hilt and wish him well.

Gooch does not have pace. Hume is the only first teamer with pace. If you think only having one player who can run in your team is OK I suggest you never purchase football manager.

Excellent post. Obviously it would be great to go straight up through the leagues but if Johnson can get us into the championship I would happily take a couple of years of consolidation playing good football and developing the squad (hopefully not selling all our youngsters) and a style of play There’s the nagging problem of needing to get out of this league. But I think the future is starting to look bright

You should put your stats up on here like you did over the road. There’s quite a few posters on here who are being overly positive IMO regarding this new manager.
Your stats will bring them down to earth. Oh I know I’m a miserable so and so etc but we are all entitled to our opinion and I see nothing to enthuse about concerning Johnson.

The deal is already done apparently.
Regardless of what anyone thinks, the best thing to do now is hope he does well and back him.

Gooch does have pace like. Pace does matter. We need more in central midfield and we need a striker with some. You can’t be ****e with pace obviously but it’s better than being ****e without it. Defenders are scared of it and currently defenders aren’t scared of us.

One of my favourite footballers to watch had no pace whatsoever but my lord was he a player and streets ahead of others because he could read the game like a book... Teddy Sheringham
