Think for some, negativity is ingrained now. Only tangible success will change that for them, and it will probably need to be at the highest level. Personally, I think it’s great news. Looking forward to how the next couple of months play out.

We're in L1 - the number of successful managers who have "won something" is pretty low when you are as low as we are.

Would explain delay in appointing manager/head coach if Speakman needs to approve and sign off on it. He only arrived at 1.00am this morning.

Exactly mate most people have been saying club needs an overhaul and to get rid of all the old guard need something new need a change of direction some new blood different ideas and other things along these lines. Now when it happens they want to twist about it and tell everybody that its not exactly what they want. Like spoiled brats at Christmas I for one am excited to see what happens and how we as a club move forward it may be a success it may be a disaster but at least we are trying to move forward and do something different

Must admit I'm not too thrilled with Lee Johnson but I'll get right behind him and the team hopefully he does well

Tbf, that’s almost inevitable with any manager at any club.

Shall we run a sweep and see what page this thread gets to before it ends naturally with time or the mods pull it?
