I didbt allude to that mate I'm saying the reason he's there is the owner means business... They've pumped in around 509 million, are building a new stadium and quite clearly after too players now, so why go somewhere else? It's a good project tbh.
he was sacked at Napoli. Doubt a big club would come for him at his retirement home. sure Usmanov has nothing to do with the sacking or him rocking up at Goodison.
It was due to start about now, but we revised the planning application after changing the design and COVID has slowed it up further. The original plan was to open August 2023, and they’re still hoping to, but I doubt that’ll happen now tbh. Projects of that scale rarely stay on schedule.
The rest of the top teams will also improve though. I can see Everton replacing Leicester as the dark horse but look at the quality required to win the league these past 3 years ffs, it’s ridiculous.
They’ve not won the Italian league since the same year we won here, and have only ever won it twice. They’ve been relegated this century ffs. Bigger club my hoop.
All I mean is they'll join the pack... I think Leicester will fall away sorry that won't last @FosseFilberto...
There's changes going on now with managers.. Younger better coaches are coming through and the old firm are not as favourable to the big clubs anymore
They can’t replace Vardy, and I don’t just mean his goals, I mean a goal scorer who is just that bit ‘not good enough’ for the top clubs to want, and happy to sit at Leicester. I can’t think of another striker like him.
