Is it me or do they favour red? Ive only ever used them twice, both this week putting £5 in, and leaving with £32 and £60 respectively. Seems red comes up 2/3 of the time, at least for me.

I would say they don't favour red. I'm just guessing though.

I would say they favour mugs, which is why bookies love em so much.

How can red come up 2/3 of the time for you if you've used them twice and both times it was red

I believe some are programmed to not go on the same colour more than 5 or so times in a row.

Very good for using the martingale system/ betting on red and black I would think. Never tried it though.

It's yet another ploy by the high street bookies to get everyone into fixed odds gambling rather than real life sport where you actually have a chance of winning.

I wouldn't trust it. A mate of mine won about £230 from a tenner on one of those machines and cashed in.
Then, when exiting, he noticed that the same machine had been black 7 times in a row, so he decided to bet red as it was "due" and put another twenty on it and would double his bet if he lost.
It came up black 4 more times. It cost him £300.
Left the place £80 down. He felt like a right plank.

I found it hilarious, though. <ok>
