Good luck. I think I watched the 5-1 beating off the mags with you in a bar in Edinburgh?

    Take care

I'll get behind Johnson if it is him. Same as Parky, not my first choice, but I'll give him the support until he betrays it.

Absolutely mate. No idea if it will work out. May go tits up
But I'm happy to give him a chance. Completely new structure and new approach
The football over the last year has been horrendous and I don't want more of the same

Back in the 80's a mate of mine during a school parents day he was doing the wheelbarrow race with a kids mother, point of the story being he was between the legs of Mandy arice Davies.

Well if I boot off and sulk I'm not too sure the owners will take much notice and change their minds.

The optimistic part of me is thinking (like Nixon is suggesting) that this could all still be tactics. If another candidate (maybe Poyet or Cowley) sees in the media that we have offered Johnson the contract, they might come back and accept.

I've heard we are only appointing Johnson as he plays squash with Methven twice a week

I feel much more comfortable with Johnson like. He plays attacking football and has been a very solid Championship manager for seasons

Not a great start from KLD if Johnson is their man. This is Sunderland though. Big old welly in your tatties every time.

Absolutely awful appointment. Can't hide my dissapointment with that one and certainly not the face or person to galvanise the club. He will be under pressure very quickly and gets new owners off to a very bad start. I hope I am wrong but this will end badly.

the optimistic part of me is thinking we are appointing a solid championship level manager.

definitely not my first choice. but not a disaster. and an improvement on before.

If this was any other L1 club the supporters would be very happy ...

... fact is, we are just another L1 club.
