I'm 46 and have been playing 'video games' since 1978. My dad still thinks it's a thing little kids do, and takes every opportunity to tell me so. I have 3 things I take seriously, my family, SAFC and gaming. Mrs Gromit (No) realised very early on not to interfere with SAFC or Gaming. In fact, she's bought me the PS5 for xmas.

tbh INEOS sporting partnership strategy has been purely around the very elite. Team Sky, Kipchoge Breaking 2, Mercedes F1, America’s Cup, Lausanne and Nice (2 football teams in expensive exclusive areas).

Whilst the Swiss and french link is familiar - Sunderland in league one doesn’t quite fit that :D

That's a bit gutting actually. I'd heard that as of about a week or so ago they were very much still interested. Not entirely sure what they were waiting for mind but at least they sounded like the complete clean slate, and imo would have been less of a risk than sartori and KLD. Still, need to see how they do, but was very much hoping that FPP would at least keep the loan in play and might have got involved at some point down the line. It's still more positive than what we've got at present mind

I think they'd have stayed if Donald & Methven had gone completely.

i guess they can be as interested as they like but if KLD writes them a cheque for £9m they become powerless.

They were big boys trying to gamble and play a game with Donald and it’s not come off. They’ll shrug their shoulders and move on to the next one :(

Could be mixed up but wasn't it him that once he admitted there was a takeover happening said it would be done in December?

Convenient text after you've spent months telling everyone Furhman was taking over. Good ITK stuff. Its almost as if its obvious they won't be involved given reports in press about KLD takeover. Somebody you never mentioned till it was in papers :)

aye. He kept saying it was nowhere near as advanced as we hoped and we’d still be here in December.
