Where do you sit in the political spectrum? Me? I'm centre right, I believe in free markets, low taxes and small governments, though I realise that there is a need for regulations to keep the corrupt in check. What about you?
Depends what mood I'm in Generally Labour, but not Guardian reading labour Don't want independence on SNP terms Hate government interference Pro war Hate sectarianism Love sectarian songs and jokes I'm screwed up
I'm not really at any specific point in the political spectrum. Taking out all the nutty political views, in general everyone has got something to offer. Right now however, I think the Tories should be given a right shoeing over what they are doing to pensions. My wife and I are in the same job and we can retire in eight years. Just to stand still on our pensions, those Tory feckers are looking at caning £20,000 off of us in those eight years. They tories can go **** themselves.
Dont trust any of them. All a bunch of lying, cheating imbeciles you will say anything to gain votes and then back track. Watch programs like Question Time and nobody can ever answer a question but will always say how the other parties have failed on this subject in the past. They wonder why nobody votes anymore yet they all behave worse than the average 5 year old with all their 'we didnt start it, he did' crap
On economic issues, I'm all over the place. I'm not in favour of a higher tax bracket for the rich, however I would aggressively pursue those who exploit tax loopholes. It's ridiculous that people like Philip Green earn millions here, yet avoid paying tax by channelling his money abroad via his wife. I'm pretty right-wing when it comes to benefits. The long-term unemployed who are able to work should be helped/encouraged to do training in areas where the country has a skills shortage. If that's not possible, they should do work to benefit the community. Those who refuse would have their benefits stopped. On personal freedom issues, I'm fairly liberal (with a small 'l'). Britain's draconian porn laws need to be brought in line with the rest of Europe and I'd legalise pot.
