tbh if the new owners are as professional as they are made out the Cowleys will be idiots not to come on board - it will be the best offer they will potentially ever get. Surely they can make some concessions? If not then they aren't the right appointments for us at this time. Exactly the same goes for Poyet - if he didnt want to work under the new structure then **** him. He aint all that imo.
I might be on my own here, but if it is Johnson, I really don't have a problem. Young Ambitious and did a great job at Bristol City. He was really unlucky to get the push there. I have made my peace of where we are as a club, and we can attract only a certain calibre of manager and for me Johnson would be one I would accept right now.
Why would Poyet say **** that? Because he might have to answer to someone? if he doesnt want to work under that then as far as i'm concerned he can **** off. He aint what we need. This club needs to stop thinking from season to season and start thinking long term. if these 2 appointments are confirmed then it shows thats exactly how we are thinking and quite frankly its about ****ing time.
Exactly this we need to keep hold of these players... we’ve been a conveyor belt before, players like Henderson, Pickford, even Mumba. It needs to stop.
Had him on ignore ages ago but took it off as I’m a bit nosey I unignored him, when he started all the **** yesterday and then disappeared I decided I was wrong. Never mind it won’t happen again
Hope its not Cowleys I know they are pragmatic and might get us up But had my fill of this with Parkinson Just want a team that plays football and are actually entertaining and enjoyable to watch. Been hideous lately even when we've won
to be fair all he’s said here is that he’s heard it’s Cowley and will be confirmed soon. Which isn’t too dissimilar to what everyone else is saying
I think whether or not the new manager fits into the structures being put in place (à la Barcelona) is more important than what they've done in the past. If Lee Johnson is that man, then he should get the job. There's certainly no reason why he shouldn't be.
Along with all his other ****e was enough for me, don’t like the bloke and I’d much rather talk to the decent posters on here. He’s a knownowt
Not over the moon with all this restructuring. The more heads of departments you have the greater the danger of personality clashes and egos going head to head. I’ve seen a thriving steel construction industry destroyed because of this.
It’s standard to have a head of every department and if we get the two from Birmingham, they can clearly work together. Don’t see the problem personally.
