Why should they? Commercial disputes are for the legal system. If the Government intervened everytime they would be slated.
We aren't the old Soviet Union. The Government can endorse a deal. But that doesn't mean that they will interfere.
I refer to my original post... Im not going to argue a point separate to what I posted and that was disputed..
No I said the government cares more about money being invested in London If that's not true then why does history say so
But that does not say anything about inaction in a commercial deal between two private parties. The Government has rightly deferred to the PL, who are responsible. That has nothing to do with politics.
This one is very much on. If anything this new evidence strengthens the consortium's case. It is evidence of unfairness and unreasonableness.
He will be back on later saying its happening again once the happy twin gets control of the computer.
interesting that a lot was redacted. Probs the bits where government tried to push the deal through. The only other thing is says is that the decision sits with the PL. this puts more pressure on PL for me. PL will therefore find it really hard to reference any non footballing reasons as govt no longer a reference point.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55172426 League have agreed a bail out for the lower leagues... Wonder what they are getting for their £250m?
The PL knew that without Government support, no valid reasons existed for rejecting. The PIF/ Saudi legal separation argument is a smokescreen. Amanda Staveley was correct and telling the truth.
