Ever had that opinion that a certain team just seems to get lucky all the time, wether that be the opposition missing golden chances against them, getting penalties etc. PSG seem to get jammy every time I watch them. Another ones Villa. Luck just seems to be certain teams more often than not.
Us, more so last season than this season I think. We were absolutely dreadful pretty much from start to finish last season, probably our win against West Ham and our win against Bournemouth being the only standout performances. Our only decent defensive performance, in my opinion, last season was the 0-0 against Chelsea, we were really solid. This season, when we've won we've actually scored an alright amount or looked pretty deserving. We're probably better overall this season.
But is it luck or could it be good coaching and fitness training? Bruce had a habit of popping up with late goals when he played for Man Utd - maybe he has been passing that expertise on to our players. The stats for the goals scored and conceded in last 10mins show some interesting trends. This chart shows the following: 1. We are the most exciting club to watch in the last 10minutes of a game. In fact its probably not worth switching on until then 2. If you do switch on then and we are playing at home we are much more likely to concede a goal than score 3. If we are playing away we are much more likely to score than concede in the last 10minutes 4. I don't have enough work on at the moment Stevie could actually use this to sort out his game tactics against other teams (e.g. Away to Villa - mass defence for first 80mins then go for it at the end (i.e. the usual) but against WBA at home - go for the early goal and throw an extra defender on for the last 10minutes).

Seems a bit of a random response Dorty after all that work I went to. Unless thats your Pet Name for @the #Cans Master. In which case I hate cauliflower too.
Most likely because we sit back, defend, concede and then have to chase the game. Chasing the game late on probs an equal chance of scoring and conceding on the counter.
Only at home - maybe we chase it too hard there. We need to ease off with the attacking at home at the end of the game. Its killing our home form.
