Bob? Mad bob If what happens happens with the share split, your opinion will be its a takeover, but while donald is still clinging on my opinion is that its a jiggling of shares. And what i am seeing with the cooke sacking and the manager we will end up with, smacks of donald and rodwell calling the shots. Take for example if there was no takeover or share thing was never mentioned and we needed a new manager and we knew it was down to rodwell(donald), the names mentioned now are exactly the names who would be linked with. And yous reckon its a new start takeover?
You say Cowley will have to out perform his previous record which is 1.76 points per game for all clubs. As a point of fact Poyet's is 1.55 points per game.
Must admit after yesterdays highs and lows was hoping today would bring a bit of cheer but I'm just confused. Said it earlier but how can we go from Poyet and Schwartz to Cowley People are pissed off and desperate for something positive hence all the bickering tonight. Would like a nice orderly transition Takeover DOF tomorrow New manager Friday
That's because the quality and consistency in this league is very low. Win our game in hand and we'll be in the play off places, and we're only 5 points off 2nd. So if someone comes in who can get us out of 2nd gear and strengthen the squad, there's plenty of reason for optimism. Too early to push the panic button yet, there's a long way to go.
Doesn't Jack Ross have one of our highest at 1.9? PPG isn't a reliable measure of managers capabilities, especially since we've had managers across 3 different divisions
I never chucked all his result into one average like, thought that would be unfair. I think a fairer comparison would be what each of them achieved in League one, Cowley has 1.71 while Gus got 2.07. So just using raw performance data for league one, Gus massively outperforms him and hits the golden 2 points a game average which will give you promotion. So yeah, Cowley will have to perform to the level Gus achieved to get us promoted, which is better than he's managed before.
If the majority of shares change hands it is a takeover. Donald no longer controls the club. The fact he retains some shares makes no difference. He has lost control therefore that is a takeover. Not sure how better this can be explained. It might not be SD completely out the club but a minority shareholder in a private company has no say.
Got a bit daft hasn't it. Seems like a rumoured managerial appointment that hasn't actually happened has opened the floodgates to a load of ****e, frankly. Why don't we wait and see what actually happens and take it from there.
You've seen them play man, they don't run so don't break into a sweat and they hardly tackle so, apart from the keepers, the kits probably only need hanging up to dry between matches!
Just seen on Twitter just there. The club are investigating Cooks son who plays for U18s after he called the club hierarchy cowards. There an article by Craig Hope in the Daily Mail. Just when you think they can’t sink any lower they go and do it again !
