Cracking game from start to finish. Thought the first half was one of the best I have seen from City for a long, long time. Donny couldn't get out of their own half at times. If we'd have gone in at half time three or four up no-one could have complained. Thought the ref was a bit dodgy too. Smallwood was booked for sod all and in the second half Wilks should have been awarded a penalty not booked for diving, which I thought was the softer option for the ref to give because he was so far behind play. So at 1-0 HT Donny are still in it with nothing to lose but besides the one goal Ingram didn't have a save to make. They had a spell and we came back the stronger team and won it, as we deserved to do. Excellent three points, bet Grant is beaming tonight.

That game in hand is against Accrington, which we would be expecting to win. To go eight points clear on Saturday would be immense, with the chance to be eleven clear of third a real incentive. Of course, it's City, so we'll end up a point clear having played a game more by NYE.
Great first half performance, second more even and I've got to say felt a bit uneasy last 20, having said that you just know when you perform like that in the first half and you don't get that second goal then they will always get that chance and that's what they did. Thought it was a fast game both teams closing each other down quickly. Great to see Eaves get that winner, they will cause a lot of teams problems this season. Once they scored you thought that's it but not this side, back to the other end and so nice to see that ball but hit the back of the net. Great game and result
