Anyone got it? Anyone playing it? if so does anyone have any tips for good young players to be buying. I like the youth academy that they have in the game now. Already produced some good youngsters through that. It also seems more realistic with the modern day. For example, derby county got bought out by rich owners, now there buying everyone in my game. I have an issue with how they rated mccormack though. And they also rated Vayrynen better than clayton but thats probably because no one knew about clayton at the time of production
I think Clayton's rating (68?) is pretty high considering he's only come to the fore this season. I didn't notice McCormack being particularly low (69?) Did you get Vayrynen in an update? He's not on my version. Forssell isn't in the game either.
As i said, i can sorta understand clayton's rating because he is new to the scene but considering becchio is rated at 74 i think, McCormack is pretty low. Vayrynen and forssell were in an update. Vayrynen is 71 and Forssell is 70 if i remember correctly. But forssell is really good, his finishing is the best in the team by far. In mine though, Lees has improved massively. He starts at like 64 i think and now he is like 68 through about little bit more than half a season
I've been disappointed with McCormack's stats on the game, he doesn't seem to take chances well, and that's on full manual as well. Somma is a beast though, scored after some great weaving runs through defenders. I've not got the update with Vayrynen and Forssell though. Lees is great, and so is White. Don't have any tips for youngsters unfortunately, I signed Grichting at CB for £1m and Steven Carr at RB for £750k, then brought Danny Pugh in on a loan to buy deal to cover LM, though his right foot shots when cutting in are awful. They're good, but older and so won't last too many seasons, planning on brining some youngsters through to replace them in the next season or so. Got the Turners Cairnes, Thompson, Taylor all out on loan now, really glad that they put player growth in for people on loan. Annoyed me on FIFA 11 that that didn't happen! Good game, but it annoys me how the CPU seems to decide when it has had enough and scores at will. I played a league cup game against Torquay, comfortably winning 2-0 until 85th minute then the right winger and striker turned into clones of Messi and dribbled round the whole team before sticking it in to force 2-2. Little bit of rage after that one!
yea its annoying how it just decides 'im gonna score now'. But i bought Jordi Amat for about 1m or something when i first got it. Hes a 19 yr old CB (70 i think) hes now 73. Snoddy has improved massively through the season i've had him, hes now 77 and my best player. Unfortunately i sold Somma almost instantly cos he was complaining he wasnt getting games, i hardly ever tried him tbh. Its a good game, just frustrating.

I think McCormack has only gone down from 70 to 69. Grayson ignoring McCormack may have cost us promotion, though, so a drop of one rating for him in Fifa isn't such a big deal.

Yeah defending does seem a lot harder now. It makes it pretty realistic when you're playing as Leeds or Arsenal. Man City are good on it. I had a comfortable victory in the Manchester derby.
