And he doesn’t believe that coming from non league to saving Huddersfield from the drop in the Championship is even worth a mention <doh>

With some of the fancy job titles kicking around these days, they'll probably create a role for 'Attire Personnel' <doh> <laugh>

I think people assume the Cowley's took over a Huddersfield side from the start of the season and took them to the foot.

Actually they took over after about 7 or 8 games with Huddersfield bottom on I think just 1 point, and were absolutely doomed. Then took them to safety. So it's not like they did a bad job there.

You could argue they've achieved their goals every single season of their management careers.

Like the Idea of Edward John Frank Howe, an English professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of AFC Bournemouth. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Howe

Amongst all the carry on from the managerial situation yesterday nobody has mentioned the takeover itself. Any updates?

Sorry, I didn't read your post yesterday, I only read it today so the point does stand, regardless of whether you think so or not. It's simple. If you want to be ignored by me, don't respond to one of my posts to tell me my opinion is wrong, as I will respond to that.

Not great either, similar appointment to Jack Ross. I would expect much more from a club taken over by a billionaire. He might do the job or not, I'm not against him, but I would've expected a Pearson or Poyet signing to elevate the atmosphere, someone with a little more in their CV than saving a Championship club from relegation.

After the shenanigans of yesterday and the performance last night, I'm in the "aye whatever" camp going forward. Quite relaxing place to be really.

I know Huddersfield were bottom with one point which is a difficult position but they were hardly cut adrift, they were six games in so plenty of time to turn it round. His record was played 40 and won 13, drew 11, lost 16, so 1.25 points a game average. I'm not saying he didn't do a good job keeping them up but it's not like he had to work miracles either.
