I can actually believe some fans will never return while the two slimy bastards are still at the club no matter who the owners are.

In term of the Cowleys...we got MON and Moyes way too late in their careers.

I think the Cowleys are similar to MON at Wycombe and Moyes at PNE. You know they have the potential to manage at the top level but do you take the risk?

In the Cowley's I think we would be getting the type of manager we thought we were getting in Jack Ross and perhaps a more sensible version of Di Canio.

I personally think we should go with them as long as there is a very good quality DOF to support them.

Must be bad if they are made to play in a different country and get relegated. <laugh>:emoticon-0105-wink:

We've ended up with a team of mid table plodders thanks to Donald cost cutting which he claims he should be congratulated on.

I'd only keep 2 or 3 for the championship with a few as backup, that's why I believe we never push for the top two as the player's know which side their bread is buttered.

So I agree, we are a big club but over the years ended up with 3rd Division mid-table player's.

The quicker we get these chancers out of our club the better.

If Dreyfus and Satori are making the choice and it looks like they are with Poyet and Schwartz being mentioned
then they may have a foreign name or someone left field that is completely off our radars
However if they can't pull a rabbit out of the hat
Then looking at the current names on the betting list I would probably agree and give Cowley a shot.
They know the lower leagues and could work with what we have and stand a more than fair chance of getting us promoted
Doesn't stop the new owners having a long term plan. If it works out with the Cowleys fine
If not hopefully they get us promoted and we move on.
As long as we get a forward thinking progressive DOF behind the scenes to restructure the club

I'm not upset you think the Cowleys would be a good chooice. I do think you are completely wrong like, and that's based on reading what Huddersfield fans had to say.

    https://downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/114171/cowleys-out

It's absolutely atrocious. The occasional bad performance is fair enough but thats 2 of the worst home performances I've ever seen in the last 3 weeks. No motivation, no plan, no desire and no ideas. Even if we somehow stay up. What do we have to look forward to if the manager can't come up with a plan to score a goal (have a shot on target?) against the worse defence in the league?
We don't deserve to stay up and I won't be be feeling hard done by if they don't. Boro, Wigan, Stoke and now Luton have come to the JSS and absolutely bossed us.
It one thing to be beaten by the better team it's another to not even try. Unacceptable.

Or how about a poll where they had the choice of a manger who they had seen or somone who had never managed before. And more of them chose the new guy.

I don't give a **** about a big name manager, so there's another incorrect assumption you have made, but I do want one that is going to be a catalyst for players joining us and has a decent contact list. I'd be happy enough with giving someone their first crack at management if I thought it would be an inspiring appointment. What I don't want is someone who the fans of their previous club, the highest club they have actually managed and got sacked from, thought their football was ****.

As for Mourinho playing playing ugly defensive football. Really. He's the lad currently managiing that Spurs team who are top of the league, second highest scorers, joint best goal difference and with the best defensive record playing a quick, effective counter attacking form of football based on a solid defence. Tell you what, I'd much prefer to get a manager of his ilk who plays ugly, defensive football if this is what he could achieve tbf.

Surely if they expected poyet to join, there isn't going to be an alternative ready to step in the day after he changes his mind. Would much rather they take stock, re assess before diving in.

I think they thought Poyet was done which would lead us to beating Burton last night, him in charge for a win against Wigan on Saturday and things would be looking rosy.

They are probably panicking they need someone in for Saturday as anything other than a win and we can pretty much guarantee we aren't getting an automatic spot.
