You should find out all this by the weekend. If Donald wanted to 'keep himself in place' he could just 'do an Ashley' and say he's not selling. I don't believe he'd go through all this tbh.
Part of me would say this is very defeatist but similar was said about Parkinson as well and look how that turned out. ive read that article about the cowleys though and would be willing to back them knowing there is also the DOF chess piece in play
Really ? Why not just ignore smug then, you've been sniping for days now, just makes you look like a sopping fanny.
Someone posted on RTG the other day that some people "would rather be right, than happy" and I think that applies to some on here too. There are some people absolutely delighted that Poyet isn't coming back because it apparently "proves these so-called ITKs wrong" I for one am gutted that GP isn't coming back but am grateful for the info that you guys who do have a bit of inside knowledge provide Even if it did completely ruin my night yesterday
That's because you were, you didn't need to include Prehab if you wanted to comment on the club. That's my last word, if people want to read your thought on me I'm sure they'll pm you.
Theres a lad on Twitter who sends the odd PM to me with thestarting XI, sometimes the night before and hes always right. Hes sent me a message saying Cowley and Lee Johnson have been interviewed.
Ruined my night as well mate, and I didn't really want Poyet ... ... but I was pleased the majority seemed happy about it.
At the risk of being labelled a Moaning Minnie, here is my current thought. I’m not too bothered that Poyet isn’t coming, as I said earlier, he waved the white flag last time. What bothers me is that he will have been given intricate details of the ongoing takeover, the plans and ambitions of the owners etc. Now it maybe that having heard them, he thought he wasn’t up to it but what’s nagging me is that he might have heard them and not been impressed enough to join us. Now that is a worrying thought.
Already interviewed, or about to be interviewed? Would seem extremely hasty if they had a contract on the table for Poyet yesterday morning and to have already interviewed 2 potential alternatives.....
could be right. Or on the flip side he didn’t originally want to come down to league one but then heard about the plans and got crazy excited, but then didn’t want to work with the DoF. we won’t know. keep the faith
1) you’d imagine they’d have interviewed more than just Poyet originally and then had a second choice. 2) it takes about 5 mins to set up a zoom call. If they had to interview people after Poyet said no, they could have set it up at 1pm for a 4pm interview, a 7pm second interview and contracts signed this morning things can move quick when done remotely and a collective desire to get it done quick, without any red tape stopping it
