Jack Ross was the next big thing......

Ill put it out there now, no disrepect to lincoln, Braintree and Huddersfield but safc is a whole new ball game.
Do we really need another manager playing long balls to concrete boots Wyke.

Like in many job we have in our life-times, if you don't agree with a newly appointed man in charge you either follow in their professional beliefs, find another job or they will let you go!!!

If Cowley is in fact appointed these footballers need to remember that the word normally in front of football player is 'PROFESSIONAL'.

    I agree with you.

I don't crave a manager 'who knows the club', I'd prefer one who doesn't tbh.

We need to clear out the place from top to bottom.

Tone of this board/thread has definitely changed for the worse in the last week. Some of the new posters seem to be good crack, others just seem to have come on to have a pop at other posters and the club. Poyet didn’t work out but we are still on the cusp of a takeover and Parky was sacked which we all wanted. Other than last nights match, I’m enjoying the ride this week and hope we get some positive news today.

It’s a sign of how desperate some fans have become, now actively encouraged by the Cowleys.

Cowley play the style of football they need to to get the best out of the players they have. Whilst we have wyke it might be hoofball. But if they see something in Grigg it might be something else.

And nobody has seen what they might do with a bit of cash yet.

anyway, it might not be them.

but writing them off when they’re so well respected in the game is a bit futile

He’s clearly a confidence player so I think it’s more than just the right formation. But the right formation, the right style, a bit of luck and then a bit of man management to make him think he’s the main man and he could do well in this division for us

Thanks! You saved me some time there because this is exactly what I was gonna say! Let's also not forget the man the Super Bowl is named after... Vince Lombardi may have played pro football but it was only a brief spell and certainly nothing of note and is still one of the best coaches to ever coach in the NFL.

I wasn't keen on the Cowley's before yesterday but the more I've read about them the more I like and I'm definitely coming around to them being appointed.

Have you read the article posted yesterday? Look into what they've done. I would argue that lifting Concord Rangers, who aren't even the biggest club on Canvey Island, to the Conference South is a bigger achievement than getting Sunderland into the Championship.

Clubs are on the verge of going under mate ....

.... we're being taken over, have ditched a dreadful manager and will have a big statement from the club very soon. (Days not weeks.)

So, despite the last couple of years we have something to look forward to.

I'm not dancing in the street but, at least, Mrs Smug isn't hiding the rope in the barn <laugh>

oh ok. I doubt Concord have a huge fan base with expectations. Still if the best we can get is a PE teacher who got binned from Huddersfield then I suppose that’s what we have to take.
