Two games against fancied top teams and we played better then both, but they took their chances. Sort the defence out and we might win some of these games 1-0. I thought Dykes was poor tonight, maybe some injury? Unfortunately I am not confident of beating anyone as we are too soft at the back and liable to let goals in. It is difficult because the football we played under Harry was terrible at times but we got promoted in the play offs. So it is getting the right balance with good football and results. As it is we will be 13th to 21st all season, hopefully no lower.
So bleedin frustrating...some fantastic play in first half but my god we need to finish chances, especially as always mistakes in us at the back
It's hard to know where we can go from here with this coach. I fear we will just continue to flatter to deceive. So ****ing frustrated.
You have to say how the f*ck are they 3rd in the table?... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table
We’re well clear of the relegation zone with one of the smaller budgets in the league. Playing good football. A lot of inexperienced players holding their own.

I like the sentiment but playing good football and getting nothing out of it, means diddly squat..I'd prefer a ugly game now and then and getting some points on the board.
We did that against Rotherham and it was ****ing torture. Obviously we all want to win games but you take the majority of the goals out the side and gamble on scraps from Scotland and hoping Chair steps up and it’s virtually impossible to maintain that level which wasn’t very high to start with. Clearly Warburton has made mistakes- not least not buying a proper athlete in midfield because he was too busy sucking off Amos- but there is for once an identity to the side far more than at most points over the last 25 years. Lots of players on a steep learning curve.
20 Attempts on goal only 4 on target.......... 1 goal. We really can't be that generous in front of goal and expect to win
By taking their chances and winning games even when they are outplayed, as they did this evening. We seem to do the opposite, lose games by not taking chances and conceding when we are on top, hence why we are 17th. It's so annoyingly obvious.
Deflating as there’s that hope that the players over perform and we have something to get excited about if we were potentially knocking on the play off door, but tonight was the perfect illustration of where we’re at. 1st half was as well as we’ve played all season, brilliant football to watch but not clinical. 2nd half, look tired, again had chances to get a draw, didn’t take them. We won’t get relegated, it’s another season of lower mid table in reality. Our hope is that this young group gets more experienced in this division and we progress next season. We can’t buy our way out of this league, it’s going to require more patience. The next 2-3 transfer windows are very important in terms of who we sell and replace them with.
I feel very split on this. On one hand he can't seem to coach the team defensively which is very frustrating, but on the other his tactics lead to three times as many chances that a normal attacking line would need to win. Is it really his fault that we can't seem to put away decent chances? Or is that because we pay £1.5m for an unproven striker from the Scottish leagues and other sides in our leagues are paying £8m for strikers. Or is it something else altogether?
I'd love to see us bring in someone like Clint onto the coaching staff - I'm sure the younsters would learn a lot about the passion it takes to play for this club and instil in them a belief that they are good enough to play at this level.
