I reckon they will just swap the SWC and South, then all they'd have to do is adapt a walkway from the SWC into the control area and cells, similar set up to Molineux. There are boxes above the SWC, but they are less likely to be hoying **** at the Mags, you'd imagine.
Aye mebbes, never thought of it like that. I thought they might be sticking them in the North Upper, NWC upper or something. Would make more sense like that, but the SWC won't be happy. They've got free reign to stand all game and smurk tabs in their corner.
Ha. I'm just speculating mind marra, in all likelihood they will hoy them in the extension somewhere, surely that means a canny bit graft for access though.
Cracking decision, stick them right in the corner of the premier concourse toward the south. Logistically I think they'll keep them in the lower bowl for policing purposes. Be interesting to see where we stick em.
Great news, I reckon 99.9% of us agree that its ridiculous when you see those huge swathes of empty seats behind the goal, we should definitely put the away fans in the SW corner, those lads stand up anyway so it doesn't really matter where they go, as long as they are all together.
Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. I think the atmosphere will massively increase next season. Singing, generally starts with a group of lads, then spreads, like a ripple effect, to the lads standing close by and so on. At present, the singing stops dead... at the away fans on one side, and at the suits on the other side. This could be the best thing to happen to the SOL....ever!!!
Just a quick question. Where the away fans are situated now is perfect for games like the derby and games against teams like Man Utd as it is right next to the coach park. Now it won't be as bad if they moved the away fans into the SWC as there isn't far to walk but what would be the case if the away fans had to walk all the way round the ground to the upper tier? Surely that will lead to more problems? Just a thought.
In the top of the concourse on the left with a bit of luck !, it is about time that happend because the mags, Everton and Man u have done it and the pressure on our defence is going to be less now, as the players seem to be affected.
You could put them in the South End of the extension, if they were going up a height, that could be quite easily adapted to get people into the coach parks.
Rrrr not the side of the pitch, please!!! Hate going to places like Everton, Villa or Palace. Horrible place to put anyone!

To be honest, making away teams 'welcome' and giving them advantages like having their fans behind the goal, isnt or shouldnt really be a motivation for us. You stick away fans in one of the worst areas of your ground, in order to minimise their effectiveness for the visiting teams. Thats fine. All I am saying is that we should do the same. At the moment, our stadium must feel like home from home to visiting teams that can see their fans cheering them as they attack that particualr goal.
man, your place looks as ugly from the air as it does from the ground. Like a cheap bar of soap. We'll be making noise no matter where you put us. it's a good decision though at the end of the day, your place has looked so empty recently.
They'll move them to the North Stand instead!!! although the organisation is a lot better nowadays!! Away fans stood at the far right (as you look at it) of the Roker end from my memory. (I stood in the fulwell most of my life) and the home fans in the rest of the roker end - it looks like this is similay at present but with the all seater stadium it looks terrible and most of the time it's empty.
You must be having a laugh..Yout ground has got to be one of the ugliest constructions I have ever seen: what Prince Charles would describe as a carbunkle...In contrast, our ground looks great from the air, absolutely no camparison to the mess that goes by the name of st James'.
Our ground ugly? Uh, that's a definitive negative actually. As I'm tolerant to people disliking large metallic/greyish constructions, I'm not going to claim SJP is a total beauty from the air, but in terms of architectural finesse of the construction compared to what ikea billed you for, come on?! Also SJP fits into it's surrounding, it doesn't look like a giant has slipped and droped his ginormous soap-on-a-rope in the middle of the landscape. Are we seriously having this discussion? So much white with the sandy brick and the red seats? Total eyesore. Pluuuuueeeese. Yo get real boys. SoL is ugly. Fact. It might be a secure and functional stadium but in terms of arguing its aesthetic appeal, that's a non starter. As far as moving the fans, i totally agree, you were beating Stoke 4-0 and there was nobody behind that goal, it looked like a trainings match on telly.
