I can understand why people might see it that way. On the other hand, they are the up and coming thing. British managers that are actually a bit different to the usual ex-pros doing the circuit. I know that they work very hard and are well respected by people in the game. I believe that they would be perfect for the long term rebuild that we need and that they would and could grow with the club. On that basis, I'd see it as very ambitious.
Rodwell won't be allowed to pick anyone. He might suggest names but its down to those in charge. If it is a lower league name then that would worry me who is actually in charge pulling the strings.
After the Poyet situation I can't even begin to think who'll get the job until they're waving the scarf .... .... there's too much going on behind the scenes and too much 'info' flying around.
The structure of the club has to take priority over the next Manager, and that structure needs to be capable of lasting well past the next 4/5 managers . We need to have all the resources tied to us not the next guy who will stay 1/2 or 4 years . Sick and tired of constant change . The club fails because we don't have the right experience ,commitment and longevity of backroom staff.

If it’s the case that the club stuck with the DoF model even if that meant losing Poyet then that’s very impressive. I would want them to stick with the model and vision in their minds.
I know mate, I’m gutted but you have to laugh as this is typical us. Feels like things never work out for this club, always a kick in the knackers waiting around the corner. Anyway, onwards and upwards and hopefully takeover sorted this week with a decent manager in place. You never know they might just surprise us.
I'd assume it means the deal has fallen through because the club are insisting of a Dof and Poyet won't agree to it
