    If Poyet has decided against it and its something to do with the sporting director then its not the best start for a new regime. The sporting director is hardly a new thing having been in the press for the last 2 weeks.

    Well that’s put a dampener on things. I just can’t quite fathom that it would get so far along to the point of Gus being offered the contract to sign for him then to say no because of the DoF issue. Gus has even said on podcasts before he would come back.

    Surely he either was never close at all or it’s still happening.
