In my opinion, we need a DoF or whatever they want to call it. I don't want a manager calling all of the shots again. The right appointment will give everyone a buzz.
Rodwell should absolutely stay for me, unless the new people coming in from an admin perspective know the intracacies of the EFL. His experience in that area will be crucial if the new people aren’t EFL experienced.
I think the cluster F*** Rodwell made of the season card showed what he is...incompetent. Gone by the end of January is my guess.
Thing is tho theres the same people saying that about Sartori....SD & CM brought him in but as some of the lads with info has stated, CM has brought Dreyfus to the table and brokered this deal, how far do you go with untrusting in business? I know its not you but the naysayers who are putting stuff like this out...I really think the one bad egg in all this is Stewart Donald, Methven is just a mouthpiece who says the wrong things but I really do think he wants the best for the club, Rodwell is just an employee
Downie is only repeating yesterday club statement about Taylor taking the first team.. another lazy journalist.
Look at every bit of correspondence he's made during his time here. He's had to make numerous apologies already and clearly holds he fans in utter contempt. I can stand Methven and Donald hanging on for a payoff with no say. But this gimp running things, no thanks. Now could you please detail where he's shown the kind of character required to chair SAFC?
No doubt things ended badly and the team kept us up after the Spurs game in the miracle season but we played some cracking stuff during his time here and he knew how he wanted us to play. We’ll still have people moaning mind.
I wouldn't want a DOF. It's really hard to find a good one and many are in constant fights with managers. I would prefer a Big Sam to have his way.
What is the craic then, sporting director still coming onboard with JR running the admin side of the club ?
OK after being quoted twice about it and rereading my post I agree he's not that bad and I may have exaggerated the point, a tad. But I would still be disappointed if he remains.
Think he was all ready to travel up last time. Interesting to hear that despite being a bit spikey in interviews that the players absolutely loved him in previous jobs.
Pearson accepted the job last time on the basis he would be allowed complete control over everything He was refused that and we went with Parkinson
Agreed, what people have to bmtry and do though is start a fresh when appropriate, you can be naturally sceptical but open to other possibilities, or you might be naturally positive but open to the idea someone is taking the piss out of you, in the case of WMS I think they should just give the new set up and management an opportunity to change things before making their mind up.
