This is the actual Bugatti me and Askew had slopped beer on during the midnight car showroom party, being brought out of the city centre showroom it was in. I hadn’t bought it but maybe Askew had? If @SW3 Chelsea Tiger says it’s £20k for an oil change I dread to think how much clipping a wing mirror on the way out would cost?!?!?!
Tell you what, as a marketing concept, it works. No hard sell, a few beers, bit of culture and I was lured in. Frankly, I was disappointed and actually slightly disgusted with the lack of German efficiency in preparation for the test drive, as Dennis video'd below. [/QUOTE] I was pissed up by the time I was ready to go. Definitely cost them a sale.

Seriously though, we were leaning over/ drooling over/ spilling beer over the open top version of this car, why are the they manoeuvring it out with the hood down?

No idea (maybe rain was forecast) Mind you I had no idea why they’d let us saunter into what was effectively a drunken party in a showroom full of £1m+ cars in the first place! Art wasn’t it? 24 hour art gallery openings in unusual venues?
Speaking of expensive toys anyone see this on the Motorbike Show? Can't get along with Henry Cole but he did show this last week, Aston Martin body around a french-built Brough Superior engine. Yours for £100k.
You can drool over all these foreign sports cars but I'm still in love with the Austin Healey 3000. A pal of mine when we were in our late teens had a 100/6, same body but a 6 cylinder 2600cc engine rather than the 8 cylinders. I still dream about riding around in that car, it was just awesome.
Whatever floats your boat. You keep him occupied, and I'll look after his friend. please log in to view this image
I usually do, interestingly enough I suggested calling my son when he was born Austin, but my wife wouldn't hear of it. Probably wisely, as AA would have been his initials.
