    Even at 2-0 up I always felt they would win 3-2 . Djenepo frustrated the **** outa me today aswell.

    We still continue to try and play our way through the game and quite admirably so. But i would like to see us shut up shop for 10 minutes when we are obviously in trouble. I would like to see more emphasis on defending rather than looking for the quick counter with the entite team pushing forwards. We are making a habit of conceeding in the last 30 minutes. Exciting game, fabulous feeling at half time... Learn how to park the bus when it's obvious we are in trouble

    Without Cavani, Saints win that. His movement off the ball was magnificent, and took his 2 goals well. McCarthy is a very good shot stopper, but does have a brain fart now and again. I know it wont happen, but if Saints could sign Dean Henderson from United, that would make us a far better team

    Given that Manchester United have spent millions more that SFC, so they should win. I still feel sick though as it would have been great for everyone here to take the p+++ out of glory hunting Manchester United fans at your place of work in the morning.

    I did ‘win’ the dishwasher game, but on opening it now to load some stuff up, I left a spoon....

    Perhaps we need to stop Bednarek scoring? From the BBC web site

    • Jan Bednarek has scored in three Premier League games for Southampton, with the Saints losing 2-3 at St. Mary's in all three games.
    Seriously though, we just need to move on, we've dealt pretty well with injuries, players out of form, and bedding in newer ones. GD hasn't taken a big hit, Ralph will know exactly what to do and importantly, not do ready for Brighton. This time last year, the year before that etc? Get back on track against Brighton, (,not a given by any means) and we'll be fine!!

    Just seen the BBC interview with Ralph, he praised the team, the performance and even Vin, but said we were let down by a bit of sloppy dishwasher emptying and the failure to notice a clean spoon.
