I would disagree with that. United were good first half until the goals. Just didn't finish their chances. Then they brought Cavani on and they did take their chances.
KWP gave the ball away a lot in the second half, Theo pretty much ineffective and I'm not convinced Shane Long is the answer to any problem. Oh well, its been a great run. If you told me this would be our position at the start of the season I'd have bitten your hand off. As for sky ****ing themselves blind at Utd, they know who their customer base is *clue- its not those who actually go to games. I'm looking at you Utd/Liverpool/City fans. I wish they'd follow through with their threats to create a euro super league. Pricks
Trying to look on the bright side. Maybe Gao will sell us now after all. Maybe Man Utd won't take Ralph after all. Anything else? EDIT: JWP must be worth about £100m right now.
Agreed, today we looked good for 15-20 mins only in the first half. The rest of the game we were rarely even and mostly second best.
**** it, not gonna get too pissed at this. We’ve been great lately, just not on it today. Ralph will sort it out.
All runs have to come to an end, I just hope that Ralph decides not to change too much this was not as worrying as the Spuds game and hopefully it's a one off against a very talented and costly team.
Reading the beeb feed, I was right about a win meaning Ole is the best thing since sliced bread again. F*ck's sake
Disappointing and probably our worst 45 mins since the first half against Chelsea, but Ings is nearly back and our upcoming fixtures aren’t bad bar Man City so I will hang on to that. KWP had an absolute dog of a game and barely strung a pass together in the second half. United did well to shut Walcott and Adams out. Djenepo is a handful on the ball but his delivery was poor (a bit of a Redmond style performance). We ignored a lot of good runs on the wings to turn back on ourselves and then went on to lose the ball while resetting. Also a couple of ‘dummies’ which unanimously failed. This is still Man U though and their seventh consecutive away PL win, we will have to put this to one side and move on.
They’ve won 8 away Prem games in a row. Bigger picture is that he’s getting something right. A couple of blips, but today I was impressed with him and them. Before today I haven’t really given them much attention and don’t have any so don’t listen to their ****, just watch our games on an i-pad on inlaws account. Their formation was set up for us, which is a compliment, and his in game decisions were good.
4 points out of 9 and 5 goals without Danny is an ok return, hopefully Redders will come back rejuvenated too.
Lol. You’re disagreeing with me but then agreeing it was the United that waste chances first half and the one that takes them in the second. Let’s move on and hope we can get back Danny for the Brighton game
Alex Burgerbun? I agree on the sky bias but quite happy with it as it keeps us under the radar which is where we like it.
Conceding at home Throwing away 3 points Defeat at S t Mary's WE'RE BACK. in fairness toe to toe against a team that cost 5 x more to assemble. I'm sure we would all have taken this league position at the start of the season. Let's not kid ourselves that Brighton will be easy either but we will be ready for them. COYR
Yeah, can't be too disappointed we played well. Passing was a little sloppy but at the end of the day they can bring on world class players to change the game. I'm proud of the lads and Ralph. We've come through the Ingsjury without too much damage
