It’s odd. Is Alan Smith a Manure fan. Why? What is so satisfying about a big club with money doing what they should be doing. Maybe they are paid to talk up the big clubs. **** knows.
Well that sucks. Especially as I thought Saints would hold on. Man Utd were the better team. Saints were poor at times especially in the final third, giving the ball away far too often. Brighton and Sheffield United next with fans. Should aim to win both. Wish Sky will stop sounding like MUTV.
Fair play to Utd. Great comeback and two cracking goals from Cavani. A draw would probably had been a fairer result but that was not one of our best days. Right from kick off we played as though they were just privileged to be in the same pitch. Gone was the belief we can beat anyone. We looked much better at 2-0 (obs) but Cavani was the difference for me. Great player. There is no way that shutting up shop and playing possession would have saved us today. Blue line. Move on.
This. Sky is not about football, or any sports. It's about making money, so if a club with enormous world-wide support is on TV, Sky will gain more viewers, the viewers will be more inclined to spend money with the advertisers, so Sky gets more money.
One poor performance in the last 8 I can live with, United deserved the win and Cavani made a huge difference when he came on. It's naturally more disappointing when you lose a 2 goal lead and the whole team never defended from the front in the second half. Still Danny could be back for the Brighton game and I think we will be better then.
yep. As was said at half time. Not unexpected at all, sadly. They were set up well today and van beek spent most the game in space between our midfield and defensive line. The better team on the day won. Gutting as it was, we weren’t as good today and I felt we ran out of steam quite early again.
Possibly. Walcott and Adams did not have the same chemistry today. But don’t forget the quote about which United team turn up. We had one in the first half and a different one in the second.
