He has the connections a privileged man has and is definitely less emotional and idiotic with his decision making than SD but he is the epitome of what I hate about the UK in one slimy arrogant suit. I wish these ****ers had never come anywhere near us and I hope they are bought out and are gone in the near future.
Interesting to hear, i think everyone is in the boat of wanting SD and CM gome but if this is the only way to get it done then so be it. I was hoping they both would be silent partners, and if their is anyone who needs to be a bit silent its CM. Was it not said he was instrumental in bringing the last deal (FFP) only for it to be rubbished later?
Well, he can be commend for doing that but it was his aim from Day one to flip the club and make (what I'm sure he though would be megabucks if promoted) a profit on his own miniscule investment. I can stand him still being here but as for helping in the running the club, that would have to be a no from me. if he shuts up and keeps out of the picture then I don't really care.. The Club comes first, not Methven or the other chancer
Exactly, lazy journalism e.g. The Sunderland Bus-stop Squad kidnapping fiasco is beyond belief and tarnishes our great fans and club. Why this was never questioned is beyond me.
Still confident that it'll be done soon? I've heard that it might not be as far progressed as some hope which has me a bit anxious. Certainly sounds like Methven wants to maintain a level of influence. I'd be surprised if the timing of the texts coming out was a coincidence
Quite right mate, this is partly what makes me confrontational and why I was banned. People who are totally dismissive of others, have a strict agenda, stick to one thread and have little interest in Sunderland always make me suspicious.
I told a few people this months ago. Like him or not he has brokered this deal. In all likelihood we would have ended up stuck with SD or some mental case like Storey or Campbell.
SAFC Fan TV bloke calling it a 'fake over' again. Am i right in thinking this bloke is being fed **** by Storey?
That's a worry then. Maybe Phillips was right, not the big change we all wanted. The FPP deal would have been the real masterstroke, now with this idiot still with a big role at the club I can't be that excited anymore. Hope I'm wrong, but it's all going a bit meh.
Then is it really the takeover that we want, if Methven and Sartori remain in place? It is their incompetence to some extent that has us where we are.
