please log in to view this image Everton v Leeds Utd Saturday 28th November 17.30| Goodison Park Leeds will be hoping they can find their striking boots for their second visit of the season to Merseyside, albeit the blue side. The Whites will be heartened having recorded 24 shots during their 0-0 draw against Arsenal last weekend. Unfortunately, only four of these were on target. Alarmingly for Leeds, they have conceded 17 goals this season from 9 games. Only Fulham and West Brom have conceded more (18). Everton have not had things all their own way either. Their win against Fulham last weekend were their first points in four games having lost back to back games against Manchester Utd, Newcastle and Southampton. They have scored five more goals, and conceded one less than Bielsa's men. They currently occupy 5th place. Leeds have no fresh injury worries. Phillips and Raphinha look set to keep their places, whilst Bielsa must decide whether to promote Rodrigo to the starting line up. We await news on the fitness of Llorente and Forshaw. Leeds defence will have to be on their toes to keep striker Calvert-Lewin quiet. The 23yo has already netted 10 times this season, with a shot accuracy of 68%.
Everton are a dirty team, just look what they did to Liverpool. The priority is keeping the players safe and then a sneaky goal from Raphinha in the 85 min for a 1-0 Leeds win.
Rodrigo has to start for me, it will be harsh for Alioski but Dallas needs to go back out on the left. Raphinha looked a bit off the pace, he needs game time to get there but I’d be tempted to start with Poveda. It won’t happen but I’d even consider dropping Harrison who’s been average at best the last three games.
Yep, apparently they don't wash behind their ears properly. Need to get themselves one of those 'Nivea' contract type thingies to clean themselves up a bit like the other scouse lot From what I've seen you're a little slow and ponderous in possession at the back, this will suit our style and enable us to cut off the supply lines to Richarlison which in turn will hopefully nullify DCL up front. Should be a fasciniating contest and one I'm really looking forward to.
We’re going to win this one 2 or even 3-0 we’re long overdue for giving someone a good thrashing That’s what I think anyway
Starting work at six Saturday just hoping to be home for kick off. Premium rates so could not turn it down.
