Very, very one sided half. Some nice staff on show and great to see Vinigoal off the mark. Here’s hoping we don’t suffer halfitis in the second.
Shooting practice so far. I know 2-0 isn't game over but the way they've been playing it's hard to see them improving much. Wrap Tanguy in wool for the weekend give him the next 45 off.
2-0 HT. Very dominant, but we really didn't make the most of it. We barely tested the keeper and failed to create that much, despite having virtually all of the ball and getting in good areas. Some decent performances, but you can tell that a lot of the players aren't sharp. Everyone's applying themselves well, though.
Not a great spectacle, they are clearly under prepared and the ref has been poor, but we need to be more clinical we have had so much of the ball and but there is so little end product.
Bale needs minutes, in my opinion. Ndombele should be the first to get subbed off though, I agree there. We need him on the weekend.
Ndombele is great to watch - but yes, I agree he ought to be subbed as he's looking a little "leggy".
