yeh understood, and I hadn’t taken it directly at me. But I’m trying to articulate the difference between the people who go out their way to be sceptical and negative and those who are still confident and want it to happen but are getting nervous
I think people need to reign it in a little like. This won't go south. If it does it's costing millions, a breakdown in relationships across Europe, plans for staff down the pan etc. Is been verbally agreed and is progressing. Failure wont happen. Onwards and upwards.
To be honest mate I’m taking all the “negative” posts with a pinch of salt and believing what my feelings are telling me, I believe all is gonna be well and we’ll soon be taken over. If the two chancers are still here then so be it they’ll have lower shares and have no say in running of the club, it’ll only be a step closer to the fukkas going for good.
Wise Men Say and RR are still fuming at Stew trying to play them off against each other, WMS include Chris Weatherspoon who never got over Stew inciting SAFC fans to boot him all over Twitter. RAWA have also been messed around by The Chuckle Brothers but there’s no reason let bruised egos put a downer on a deal that effectively chops their nuts off. If Stew and Chaz retain a small share they can’t do much but ride on the backs of the new owners. If they want to talk to the press there’s nothing stopping them. I don’t think they can even bigger fools of themselves but it’s the one thing they truly excel at.
I love to see a nice clean car, someone should start a thread called 'Show us your washed car' Nice weekender Roger, what's your day car?
So Madbob says this today... "Oh sorry i think SD CM and JS are going to be still here, are they not and the reason you post this is you have nothing better to do on a Thursday night, you sad sad person. A takeover in monetary terms and yes shares split, but guess who will be front and centre at our games SD" You say you exchange things with him and some things are the same, some different. Is what he saying here correct cos if so I'll be well pissed off if Donald is still front and centre at the games. I'm hoping he'll be in the background and never show his face again.
Some on here and on the RTG, seem to jump on any news that might sound slightly negative. The nixon tweet is a example, it basically says nothing of interest yet some are turning it into a negative
Donald isn’t front and centre at our games now and he’s the majority shareholder. He’s hardly going to start being more active with less equity
Whoever they appoint as manager is going to show how ambitious they are. Hopefully its a big statement of intent
He’s not right in the head that bloke, I cannot see him being anywhere near the sol on match day as the abuse will be deafening and he hasn’t got the bollocks of Mike Ashley to sit there and ignore it. He’s a coward
no mate it has wet weather gear hood and side screens or you can go la Naturell with wet suit and helmet
Over the past few years we as Sunderland supporters have endured some awful times and we are at our lowest point. With so many disappointments it's easy to fall into a negative outlook on anything that shows promise. This time next week though we could be on the verge of something that could be a turning point for the club. A moment that we could look back in a few years time and say I remember when it happened and when things changed for the better. That's how I'm looking at the situation, things sound like they are progressing and all parties seem to want it to happen....All of this should warrant a lot positivity amongst us (And an obsene amount of beers when it gets confirmed)
