Match Day Thread Vs Atalanta (H)

I would expect Atalanta to be significantly better than their last outing

 

Glad to see R Williams & Tsimlkas getting game time but although i've defended Origi previously not sure i understand that call .

I am getting worried for our silly mistakes.

 

Strong arm from Big Al

 

Shaping up to be a good game this,

 

It was the arm of GOD.

 

Looks like we trained giving the ball away. Salah, Matip, Neco all at it

 

All a bit disjointed

 

Tsimikas has but a couple of balls in that have been exceptional quality

 

All a bit crap. Midfield aren't giving any protection to the defence, nor are they getting on the ball and influencing the game.

Jones was fantastic on the weekend, yet tonight I'm not sure he has even touched the ball.

 

Either Origi is getting a rough ride from the ref or has forgot leg day.

 

Atalanta fighting for second place

 

Looked much more the side you expected last time out.

 

Can see the lack of understanding out there. Midfield is non existent at the moment. Need to get hold of the ball and pass it around a bit.

 

I hope the second is better than this

 

Playing very deep, no real out ball. Mane and salah trying to do to much when they do get it.

Midfield being bypassed, not offering anything defensively or going forward.

Then there is divock, pointless use of a shirt.

Hopefully changes in the second half

Well at least we haven’t conceded...

Think need to get minamino on to try and at least link midfield and attack. At the moment there’s a front 3 and the rest. No link up or anything. Origi is an impact sub from wide, he’s not good enough player to play down the middle for us
