JAN SALES do we need to buy any more players?are we strong enough?

Question when jan sales start transfer window do u think we need any more players -what positions do we need cover in and who do u think cp is looking at i heard weve bid for tubbs today at crawley with palarse and bournemouth

The Tubbs one is old news and Powelly denied it anyway.

 

only get new players if benson, francis and doherty go. would like us to stick to a budget and not push the boat out, look what happened last time - dowie and his flops.

 

I don't envisage January being a busy month at the Valley (except for fixtures of course!) I'm pretty sure CP is happy with his squad and even if Benson, Francis and doc go I don't think he'll bring anyone in. Our squad has enough depth and if we are still at the top I don't think he will want disrupt the squad. I agree though that he already has an idea of what he would look for next summer if (I want to say when!) we do get promoted.

 

I say get loads of new players in. I am surprised you only raise this question now, Acworth. We will be at the back of the queue now. January is not far away. I think we need at least two new players for each position and three for some. And I hope the board don't give us the usual crap about living with our means. That is not how they do things in Greece and they invented democracy, houmous, and an interesting sexual variation.
