Well they got their good game out of the way for the week.

Hopefully that means they are in for a poor showing on Sunday.. Although I can't help but think ole will finally play vdb and cavani against us, which will make them a very decent side

I’d stick Armstrong on the left, Walcott on the right, behind Adams and Long/Obafemi. Djenepo I just feel works better as an impact sub or against weaker oppo (for now at least).

With McCarthy in goal, he'll save the penalty, and the rebound, clear the ball upfield and Che will be waiting to put Theo through for another to add to his tally

If it was at their place , we would win .

As it stands. We will lose and end up getting relegated ...

Southampton sat 5th in the table before this match...

I was stood behind Terry Hall of The Specials a well known Manure fan at this match, don't know why he was with Saints fans.

I think David Armstrong is past it now.

“A bit of an elbow from Worthington there”. I wonder how many times commentators said that over the years? <laugh>

Stevie Williams was just a different class that season.

I would still want to see Theo through the middle up against Maguire, l think that could be a good mismatch, Maguire will not be able to live with his pace and can see some free kicks in JWP territory as a result.

Long and Obafemi are both equally as fast as Walcott though.

Yeah but Adams and Walcott have really gelled in the last 2 games. No point breaking that up.

Perhaps that's an indication of Adams's ability and football intelligence, in that he's quickly formed partnerships with both Ings and Walcott.

It's more that I just don't think Djenepo is up to the task against the Man Utd midfield. I think we need to prioritise the middle of the park over the attack, at least at the beginning of the game.
