No patience, no feel for the club, no understanding of its recent history. Bowyer is not immune from criticism & last night was not his finest hour, but he deserves at least the whole of this season to get us promoted. I feel that Sandgaard will back him again in January (strikers needed) but will dispense with him anyway at the end of the season if we don’t go up. Thomas is smart, ambitious & ruthless as we saw with the Head of the Medical Dept - but like 99.9% of our proper fanbase, he wants Bowyer to succeed.
Bowyer has just got lucky over the past two seasons. These past 2 games are a sign of things to come. Get rid before the rot sets in.
This from the person who said they had it 'from the horse's mouth' that the November Lockdown would end after 9 days.
Several of those mentioned have not really been scapegoats inasmuch as they have made few, if any appearances. My definition of a scapegoat is one who is on the pitch regularly but given no quarter by the crowd. One that I remember from before I went overseas was Les Berry.
Berry played a few hundred times for Charlton right? Last recent one is probably Morgan Fox, he must have played over 100 games for Charlton.
matt taylor and paul hayes were incredibly unlucky. both dropped out of the team during success by what would become legends (kermit and cort/morrison)
