    Bit difficult for him to get you points when he spends most the match on the floor <laugh>

    To be honest I am all for a bit of banter/discussion before a game especially as the majority of it is miles more mature then the old 606 which was just petty squabbling most the time

    Besides it passes the time while we wait for another boring international break to be over <ok>

    I was accepted into a Mackem thread about sacking managers with the simple words "Toon fan in peace"...

    But some boards get very defensive. (the ones which are active, anyhow...)

    I was praising Spurs and everything. Said they are good team at will be a good game between us and they were saying they are going to win easy and we are **** etc.

    I closed that article because it had descended into a pointless slanging match, as I explained with the final comment.
    How could I disagree with a thread that was a question?

    The odd Spurs fan on our board is a little defensive, probably as a hold over from the old 606 days, where it had become a WUMfest.
    Statements like, "all of their fans are arrogant", don't help, though.

    It just made recount a number of quotes! I've looked a few up which are all applicable!
