The owners knob head brother used to live next door to me and had a Ferrari and Lambo and thought it was good practice to go out at 10 o'clock at night and start them up and rev the tits off them. Hope the c**t ****ed the engines doing it by not letting them warm up properly.
I've heard and seen people say that those who accepted Donald, at the start, were gullible and proved wrong by the doubters. Apparently we should've listened and by the time we realised it was too late ... ... too late for what? What should we have done, blocked the deal, gone to court for an injunction, called International Rescue? I find it poor that people who accepted a bloke from Eastleigh in place of an American billionaire, and once again got behind the club, are held up as hapless dopes. Yes we did nothing against Donald but, apart from moaning on social media, neither did anyone else. RAWA were the only ones who managed a tangible response yet are regularly criticised ... .... ironically by the same people criticising everyone else but themselves.
got a 4yo McLaren on my estate, house worth around 200k,car worth about 100k... canny if you can do it.
I would like to unreservedly apologise to the board for above post as it now appears that my confidence that CM will not be actively involved may be misplaced - sorry I just hope that on this occasion the information @Hawyatt Earp has received is incorrect, I copy his post below "Donald will have very, very little say on anything moving forward. A "silent shareholder" was how he was described in an email by one of the others involved. Methven however..." Well that's my morning spoilt
It won’t matter now mate, according to the Echo last week all those lambos and ferraris got seized by the cops from a few addresses in seaham in a fraud investigation.
It never sat right with me from the start, I always thought he was punching way above his weight and looked like a man who had just come across a mysterious and valuable artefact that had lay in a ditch for centuries, knew it was a once in a lifetime find but had neither the know how or the money to restore it to its original glory. I wouldn't ever say any believers were gullible though and there is absolutely no harm in optimism having been slowly driven to a place where Donald was seen as a saviour. The reason people were quick to jump and support Donald without questioning anything was down to Short and his decision to pull funding from the club and watch it slowly disintegrate in the first place. I hope everyone can get behind the new majority shareholder even though Donald and Methven are likely to be skulking around in the background for the foreseeable future. I feel we may be on the brink of something that could resemble a magic carpet ride - finally.
Don't be too downhearted mate. CM will have a minority holding if anything and,if he does have any active role,no matter how small, I'm sure the new owners will have instructed him in his duties accordingly. I don't believe they'll be people who will suffer fools gladly. If this all comes to fruition and we start performing on the pitch, all this behind the scenes stuff will be consigned to the back burner anyhow. If we get out of this league and start to set the Championship on fire,as long as he keeps his gob shut,we'll forget all about CM.
I hope your right, it's the bit I've highlighted that he may have a problem with, especially if there is any semblance of success, he just won't be able to resist the limelight.
The amount of people saying nothing is happening is unbelievable. There’s no evidence of nothing happening, all the evidence points to something happening
The scorn merchants over there have been negative on this for over a year mate, and the longer it goes without a resolution the larger and more vocal their clique becomes.
The rawa lad over the road saying in their group some have heard the takeover might still be a long way off being completed. ****ing hope not.
