I’ve given up trying to work Warburton’s teams out but I’d have thought with Carroll’s performance second half on Saturday, Cameron being 86 and it being a match we should be on the front foot for it would’ve made sense to have Carroll in there instead of one of Cameron/Ball. Good to see three proper attacking midfield options though.

Thought Kane had a decent game Saturday, not sure he deserved to be dropped. Leaving Carroll out is an odd one as well.
We have approximately 263 games in the next couple of months so there’ll be some odd decisions I’m sure. If they hadn’t changed the rule on subs mid-season we’d have kept at least one of Smyth/Shodipo I’m sure.
Funny how we all can see games differently. I thought Kane was dreadful on Saturday, especially in the first half. I thought he gave the ball to them with misplaced passes every time he had it. I quite like the look of that line up tonight. Really good attacking options, about time Willock was given a start and I much prefer the two youngsters at full back rather Wallace and Gromit (Kane).
Rooting for you guys. Obviously cos of Gareth but love Akinfenwa too. A big character in every sense.

Wasn't Kane on the receiving end of a pretty nasty tackle towards the end of Saturday's game, maybe on bench as a precaution more than anything...... Agree about Carroll but maybe Warbles has a cunning plan for Friday........
